MAURICE BRIERE JR is a partner with Ralph Brown & Associates in Knoxville. Mr. Briere has been an attorney for more than13 years and practices in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation and Social Security disability law. He is a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice and the Knoxville and Blount County bar associations. Mr. Briere earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Gordon College, his M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee. H. STEPHEN GILLMAN is an attorney with the Knoxville law firm of Pryor, Flynn, Priest & Harber where he practices in the areas of personal injury, employment litigation, workers' compensation, family law and domestic relations, family wills and estates, and criminal defense. In addition to these general practice areas, Mr. Gillman has extensive experience in assisting clients with detainer and ejectment actions and helping small business owners establish their existence, draft and interpret contracts, and formulate internal governing documents, partnership agreements, leases, and other items necessary to conduct business on a daily basis with emphasis on their individual need. He has assisted numerous individuals and small businesses against insurance companies in obtaining successful results in fire and theft loss claims and has represented numerous clients in litigation under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act. Mr. Gillman represents a number of locally owned businesses and individuals in all forms of litigation and representation. Mr. Gillman received his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, and J.D. degree, cum laude, degrees from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Gillman is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and an active member of the Knoxville Bar Association and KBA Barristers. ROBERT M. STIVERS JR. is an attorney in Knoxville and is currently engaged in general civil litigation involving personal injury, medical malpractice defense, professional negligence defense, workers' compensation defense, construction disputes, and employer/employee issues. He represents clients in State and Federal courts and before administrative tribunals. He is also a Rule 31 General Civil Mediator. Mr. Stivers has engaged in the practice of law since 1970 and has been elected as a fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern Division of Tennessee, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Stivers is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee bar associations and the Hamilton Burnett American Inn of Court. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
