STEPHAN D. KARR is a member of the Nashville office of Stillman & Friedland's litigation department. Mr. Karr has litigated thousands of cases involving personal injury over the past 20 years. His skills of negotiation and arbitration and his reputation of highly successful litigation make him especially talented at maximizing settlements and jury awards. Mr. Karr is very personable and persuasive before juries and judges. These attributes make him a very well respected and successful attorney. Mr. Karr is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Maryland and the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. District Courts of Tennessee and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit. He earned his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. degree from Nashville School of Law. SARAH HARDISON REISNER is principle with the law firm of Manier & Herod, where she defends employers in workers' compensation cases. Ms. Reisner speaks on the Workers' Compensation Act and has assisted the firm in writing a book titled Tennessee Compensation: A Practical Guide. Ms. Reisner earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond and her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee. She is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American bar associations; the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association; and the Mid-South Workers' Compensation Association.
