J. TODD FAULKNER is a sole practitioner with The Law Office of J. Todd Faulkner, where his areas of practice include civil tort law litigation, criminal law and domestic law. He is a frequent lecturer on insurance litigation to various business and professional groups. Mr. Faulkner is a member of the Nashville Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Middle Tennessee State University and his J.D. degree from the Nashville School of Law. BRADLEY FREEMAN is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is board certified in general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Freeman has experience conducting both civil and criminal evaluations for children and adults. He has lectured to the community, presented nationally, and educated attorneys about forensic child custody evaluations. Dr. Freeman is an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Florida, his M.D. from the University of South Florida, his general training in psychiatry from the University of South Florida, and completed fellowship training in child & adolescent psychiatry and forensic psychiatry from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Freeman is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Psychiatry & Law. His interests include evaluating violent offenders, developmental disorders and criminality, and family law including parenting time evaluations and parental fitness. DANA C. MCLENDON III is a sole practitioner in Franklin, Tennessee, where he practices primarily in domestic, criminal and personal injury law. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University. Mr. McLendon's memberships include the Williamson County and the Tennessee Bar Associations. HON. CAROL L. SOLOMAN presides over the newly-created 8th Circuit Court for the 20th Judicial District. She practiced law in Davidson County and surrounding counties for 19 years prior to taking the bench in September, 1998, in Nashville, Tennessee. Judge Soloman's primary emphasis in her private law practice is family law and criminal law. She is a graduate of the Nashville School of Law. Judge Soloman received her undergraduate degree from Peabody College (now Vanderbilt University at Peabody). She is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Judicial Conference and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Lawyers Association for Women, of which she was a founding member. Judge Soloman is a former assistant district attorney general and initiated the original victim/witness grant in Tennessee.
