JOHANNA JUMPER is an associate in the Nashville, Tennessee office of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, where she represents developers, landlords and tenants in all types of real estate transactions, including real estate acquisitions, dispositions and refinancings; closing of new loans and loan assumptions; workouts and foreclosures; and retail, office and industrial leasing. She also has served equity investors in the purchase, reorganization and sale of distressed assets. Ms. Jumper earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Syracuse University and her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she also served on the University of Tennessee Law Review editorial board. She is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American bar associations (Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law). Ms. Jumper also belongs to the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers, and serves on the Tennessee Association of Realtors Commercial Forms Committee. MATTHEW B. MATTINGLY is an attorney with the Nashville, Tennessee, law firm of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, where his areas of practice include general commercial real estate. Mr. Mattingly works with clients in their endeavors related to commercial real estate matters, commercial lending transactions and general business transactions. He is a member of the American, Tennessee and Nashville bar associations. Mr. Mattingly earned his B.A. degree from Transylvania University and his J.D. degree, Order of the Coif, from the University of Kentucky. GARY S. RUBENSTEIN is a partner with the Nashville law firm of Schulman, LeRoy and Bennett, P.C., where he practices in the areas of landlord and tenant law, insurance defense law and surety bond law. He earned his B.A. degree from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Rubenstein is on the faculty of John A. Gupton College. He is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American bar associations and serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Apartment Association. PETER C. SALES is a partner on the litigation team of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, where he specializes in trial litigation and counseling. He concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation on behalf of mature companies and emerging businesses, technology companies, and individuals, including broker-deals, directors, officers and physicians. Mr. Sales advises clients on disputes relating to commercial contracts, government contracts, Freedom of Information Act requests, covenants not to compete, securities (including class actions), options, antitrust and business torts, including claims such as civil conspiracy, fraud, unfair competition, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, trademark infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets. He also has an active practice advising clients regarding environmental regulations, superfund litigation, environmental tort claims, and remediation demands. Mr. Sales has handled cases throughout the U.S., including Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and California. These cases have involved numerous complex issues involving environmental torts, environmental remediation demands, securities litigation, and disputes relating to various land developments. He earned his B.A. degree from Duke University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Mr. Sales is a member of the Tennessee and Virginia State bar associations.
