TERI CALLEN STOMSKI is the South Carolina Counsel for Investors Title Insurance Company. Ms. Stomski earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina. She received the 2009 Gold Compleat Lawyer Award by the University of South Carolina School of Law, an award is given to alumni in recognition of their significant contributions to the legal profession and high standards of professional competence, ethics and integrity. Ms. Stomski is a former adjunct professor at Savannah State University and a frequent lecturer and contributing author for continuing legal education seminars relating to real estate law and title insurance underwriting. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Business Carolina, is past president and a board member of the Central SC Chapter of Risk Management Association (RMA), and is a member of the Palmetto Land Title Association (chair, Communications Committee; Legislative Committee; Education Committee) and the South Carolina Bar Association. Ms. Stomski is active in civic organizations and has served in many capacities with the Junior Leagues of Columbia and Savannah, Junior Achievement of Columbia and Savannah and The Rotary Club of Five Points, where she was named "The Charles C. Foster Rotarian of the Year 2007-2008" and was elected to serve on the 2009-2011 Board of Directors. She also serves as the chair-elect of the Midlands Advisory Board and on the State Board of Advisors for Healthy Learners of the Sisters of Charity Health System. (Columbia location) JOBY C. CASTINE is vice president and state underwriting counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company in West Columbia, South Carolina. He has more than 27 years experience as underwriting counsel in the field of title insurance in South Carolina. Mr. Castine co-wrote an article on co tenancies, Volume 6, South Carolina Jurisprudence, and was a contributing author on the topic of mortgages, Volume 27, South Carolina Jurisprudence. He also wrote three volumes on "Underwriting Principles and Exception Language Manual" for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, and a South Carolina Supplement to the Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company Southeast Region Underwriting Manual. Mr. Castine is a frequent lecturer at seminars relating to the title insurance industry and is a past president of the Palmetto Land Title Association. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina. (Columbia location) JAMES E. CHELLIS is a managing partner at the law firm of Chellis & Frampton, P.A., where he practices in the areas real estate litigation, commercial real estate law and transactions, probate law, estate planning, business planning, commercial litigation, and personal injury. Mr. Chellis has presented for National Business Institute on topics of real estate and probate litigation. He is a past president of the Dorchester Bar Association and organized the Dorchester County Public Defenders Corporation, where he served as a director. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina. (Columbia and Charleston locations) W. ALEX DALLIS JR. is a principal in the Dallis Law Firm, P.A., where he practices primarily in real estate law, commercial litigation and intellectual property. He served as an adjunct professor for the Department of Civil Engineering at Clemson University and The Citadel, and he co-wrote "Getting Started: A Practical Guide to Opening a Law Office," published by the South Carolina Bar Y.L.D. Mr. Dallis earned his B.S.E. degree, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina, where he was Order of the Coif. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the American Bar Association. (Charleston location) RAY L. DERRICK is the South Carolina underwriting and claims counsel for The Security Title Guarantee Corporation of Baltimore and is engaged in private law practice in Lexington, South Carolina. He has lectured on real property issues for the South Carolina Bar and other professional organizations. Mr. Derrick is a member of the Lexington County and Richland County bar associations, the South Carolina Bar, the Palmetto Land Title Association and is past director of the Professional Center for Paralegal Studies. He is admitted to practice before the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and is a visiting lecturer at the USC and Charleston Law Schools. Mr. Derrick earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina and is a former JAG officer. (Columbia and Charleston locations) BENJAMIN A. DUNN II is a partner with the law firm of Holler, Dennis, Corbett, Ormond, Plante & Garner in Columbia, South Carolina. His practice is focused on litigation involving real property, contractual disputes, and employment, as well as residential and commercial real estate transactions. He earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, with senior departmental honors, from Clemson University and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served on the Student Editorial Board of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal. Prior to joining Holler, Dennis, Corbett, Ormond, Plante & Garner, he served as underwriting and claims counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company's South Carolina Office.
