GEORGE L. CLAUER III attended Louisiana State University, earning his B.A. degree in science and his J.D. degree from the LSU Law Center. Mr. Clauer is admitted to practice in South Carolina and Louisiana. Mr. Clauer is certified as specialist in Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law by the South Carolina Commission on CLE and Specialization. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Board of Certification which certifies attorneys as specialists in Consumer Bankruptcy, Business Bankruptcy and Creditor's Rights. Mr. Clauer was a member of Panel of Trustees, United States Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Louisiana, and assigned Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases from October 1, 1979 through April 30, 1981. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th and 5th Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for South Carolina and the Eastern, Middle and Western districts of Louisiana. He has also served as a seminar instructor, author, and lecturer in the fields of construction liens and claims and bankruptcy litigation. NATHAN DAVIS is the owner of Davis Law Firm in Charleston, where his areas of practice include bankruptcy, real property and business law. As a licensed title insurance agent, he has represented builders, developers and individual buyers and sellers, as well as being involved in numerous quiet title actions for matters involving both heirs' property and tax sale issues. Mr. Davis earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina. He continues to represent primarily debtors, both individual and corporate. Mr. Richardson is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association, and presently serves on the Bankruptcy Court's Advisory Committee. He hung out his shingle upon admission to the bar and, except for a brief period of time during which he was staff attorney for the South Carolina Foster Care Review Board System, has been in private practice in South Carolina for his entire career.
