February 2 - Columbia REYNOLDS H. BLANKENSHIP JR. is an associate with Masella Law Firm, P.A. He practices in the areas of civil litigation, including personal injury, products liability, wrongful death, breach of contract, business disputes, construction litigation, employment litigation, real estate litigation, probate litigation, and bad faith insurance claims; workers' compensation; criminal defense, including drug charges, traffic offenses, driving under the influence (dui), criminal domestic violence, violent crime, and white collar crime; post-conviction relief; domestic litigation, including divorce, separation, custody, and adoption. GEORGE W. BRANSTITER is a sole practitioner in Lexington, where he focuses on family law. He has spoken for the National Guard and the Emergency Management Division of the South Carolina Guard. DAVID M. COLLINS JR. is the owner of the Collins Law Firm, P.C., where his main areas of practice include marital litigation, contested adoptions and appeals from orders of the family court. He is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina. Mr. Collins is a frequent presenter at CLE seminars on family law. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg, his M.P.A. degree from Clemson University and the University of South Carolina and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Collins is a member of the North Carolina and South Carolina Trial Lawyers associations, as well as the North Carolina State Bar, the South Carolina Bar, and the North Carolina Bar Association. He is board certified in family law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. REBECCA WEST is an attorney with The Law Office of Richard J. Breibart, LLC, as the leader of the family court litigation department. She practices solely in the South Carolina Family Court. Ms. West has extensive experience in complex family court litigation, including custody, property division and Department of Social Service (DSS) matters. She has a particular interest in cases that include psychiatric issues. Ms. West has lectured at various legal education seminars, including, "What is your Expert Giving You?" Deposing Psychiatric and Psychological Professionals; Children's Issues in Family Court (CLE, March 2007); An Optimal View of 2005 (CLE, December 2005); and she also has written the Legal and Historical Analysis of the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Act (University of Texas at Arlington, 1997). In addition to her practice in the family court, Ms. West also is a certified family court mediator and offers mediation services both privately and through Richland and Lexington counties. She earned her undergraduate degree, with honors, from Lander University and her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Since 2004, Ms. West has practiced primarily in the South Carolina Family Court. She practices in counties state-wide and has extensive experience in litigation and negotiation. Ms. West's practice has included litigation in the areas of child custody, division of assets and debts, and alimony. Ms. West has represented parties in family court appeals dealing with complex cross-state jurisdictional issues. February 3 - Charleston WILLIAM J. CLIFFORD is a sole practitioner in William J. Clifford, L.L.C., representing clients in family law, divorce, criminal defense, military law issues, and personal injury cases. He has extensive experience in the Family Court, the Court of Common Pleas, and the Court of General Sessions. Mr. Clifford graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Baccalaureate degree in Economics. While in graduate school, he was selected as a member of the Mexico School of Law, on a full scholarship, where he earned his Juris Doctor as well as a Master of Arts in Economics. During law school, Mr. Clifford was on the Dean's List, a member of the law review, and a research assistant for a graduate study in Economics. He also received the American Jurisprudence Book Award for the highest grade in business planning and estate planning courses. Upon completion of law school, Mr. Clifford served as the Senior Defense Counsel for the Naval Legal Service Office in Charleston, where he supervised a number of attorneys while representing military members in courts martial under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Mr. Clifford also worked as and Administrative Law Attorney and a Claims Attorney in the Washington D.C. area for the Office of the Judge Advocate General of the Navy. GREGORY S. FORMAN is an attorney in Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated from Haverford College and from Temple University School of Law, cum laude. Mr. Forman has been a member of the South Carolina Bar since 1992 and practicing family law since 1993. He has written numerous articles on child custody and family law for the South Carolina Lawyer and the American Journal of Family Law , and he has lectured extensively on family law, including presentations at the "Hot Tips" and "Cool Tips" seminars and the annual Family Court Bench Bar. Mr. Forman is the treasurer for the Charleston County Family Court Liaison Committee and the past president of the South Carolina Bar Trial and Appellate Advocacy Council. Among the published opinions from family law appeals he has handled are the cases of Spreeuw v. Barker , Upchurch v. Upchurch , Emery v. Smith , Moore v. Moore and Abate v. Abate. LINDA C. HAYES is an attorney with Hayes Law Firm and Law Offices of Linda Hayes, where she practices in the areas of family law, divorce, child support, adoption law, paternity and name changes. Ms. Hayes earned her B.A. degree from George Mason University School of Law and her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina. She is admitted to practice in South Carolina. STUART W.
