JON M. ANDERSON has been an attorney with Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP since 1989. He practices in the areas of education law, complex civil litigation, unfair trade practices and antitrust law. Mr. Anderson was a moderator at the Rhode Island Bar Association annual meeting in 2002 on "My Child Did What?!: The Legal Implications of Public School Discipline." He has spoken on "Evaluation, Eligibility Determination & IEP," "Evaluation and Re-Evaluation" and "Procedural Safeguards" at various "Special Education Law in Rhode Island" seminars. Mr. Anderson is a member of the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and American (Antitrust and Municipal Law sections) bar associations. He earned his A.B. degree, magna cum laude, from Brown University and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. VICKI J. BEJMA is an attorney in the Providence law firm of Robinson & Clapham. She practices in the areas of education, special education law, labor and employment, collections, domestic relations, civil rights, personal injury, and legal research and writing. Ms. Bejma earned her paralegal certificate from Katherine Gibbs School, her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Rhode Island College and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law. She has been admitted to the Rhode Island and Massachusetts bar associations. Ms. Bejma is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court District of Rhode Island. NICHOLAS P. BROWN is an attorney in the law firm of Little Medeiros Kinder Bulman & Whitney, P.C., where he focuses his practice in Labor and Employment Law. He received his B.A. degree from Amherst College and is an honors graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law and a Teacher's Assistant of Constitutional Law. While in law school, he worked as a law clerk in the Property & Casualty Law Group at a major insurance company in Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. Brown's educational experience at UConn also included an externship with the United States Postal Service legal department defending Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board and Title VII employment discrimination claims. Since joining the firm, he has assisted on various matters involving Rhode Island's education laws and regulations. In addition, he is working with the firm's labor law attorneys as the firm prepares for various interest arbitration proceedings. Mr. Brown is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, New York Bar, and Rhode Island Bar. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and New York Bar Association. SARA A. RAPPORT is a partner with the law office of Little Medeiros Kinder Bulman and Whitney PC. Her areas of practice include education law, labor and employment, and commercial litigation. Ms. Rapport is a former senior assistant city solicitor with the Providence City Law Department. She served as legal counsel to the Providence School Department and School Board, and handled various labor and employment matters for the city, including litigation in federal and state courts and before the Rhode Island Department of Education. Before joining the city's law department, Ms. Rapport was a partner at a Boston law firm, where she specialized in criminal defense, employment and civil rights litigation. Prior to that, she worked as a staff attorney with Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc. in San Diego, California. Ms. Rapport earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, with distinction, from Yale College and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she served as a member of the Harvard Law Review and Harvard Women's Law Journal.
