CHARLES B. ALLOTT is of counsel with Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP, where his practice is focused in the area of commercial real estate acquisition, disposition and development; land title and survey issues; title insurance issues; regulatory zoning, subdivision, and coastal permitting; land conservation issues; riparian and littoral law; and condominium law. Mr. Allott is a former adjunct professor at Southern New England School of Law and a frequent seminar faculty member on real estate and riparian law issues in Rhode Island. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Rhode Island and his J.D. degree from Western New England School of Law. RICHARD N. MORNEAU is a partner at the Providence office of Morneau & Murphy, where he practices in the areas of banking and credit union law, and real estate, commercial and debtor-creditor law. Mr. Morneau is a past contributor to Lawyers Weekly. Mr. Morneau is a member of the American (Committee on Credit Unions) and Rhode Island (former chair, Committee on Banks and Trusts) bar associations and the Rhode Island Conveyancers Association (past president and director). He earned his B.S.B.A. degree from Babson College and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University. JUSTIN T. SHAY has been practicing law in Rhode Island for nearly thirty years and is a partner in the Providence law firm of Cameron & Mittleman LLP. He has extensive experience practicing before all Rhode Island state and federal courts, including appellate practice. Mr. Shay is a 1978 graduate of Providence College and a 1982 graduate of New York Law School where he was a member of the Law Review. He is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court, First Circuit Court of Appeals and the Rhode Island State and Federal Bars. He is a member of the American and Rhode Island bar associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Shay is a frequent lecturer on real estate litigation topics for attorneys and land surveyors. He also serves as a court-appointed receiver and commissioner for the sale of real estate in the Rhode Island Superior Court. Mr. Shay has been retained as an expert and consultant on real estate law by the state of Rhode Island and by major Rhode Island law firms. Mr. Shay has been listed as a "Top Attorney in Rhode Island" by Rhode Island Monthly.
