DOUGLAS G. GRAY is a partner at the law firm of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP. Mr. Gray brings a broad range of experience in the practice of corporate law, concentrating in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, strategic alliances, and commercial ventures, to his clients. In addition, he enjoys an active collaborations practice, centered on negotiating licensing, joint venture and development agreements relating to intellectual property rights. Mr. Gray's work in acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and other transactions involves representation of individual investors, management teams, corporate buyers and sellers, and private equity firms. This varied representation provides him with a unique understanding of the likely concerns of each party in a sophisticated transaction so that he is well-suited to assist clients in planning and implementing their strategies as well as crafting creative, but cost-effective, solutions to their concerns. Mr. Gray earned his B.A. degree from Yale University and his J.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame School of Law. DREW P. KAPLAN is a partner in the law firm of Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years and currently practices in the areas of federal taxation, general business, corporate law, low income housing tax credits and estate planning. Mr. Kaplan earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from Boston University Law School. He was an instructor at the Bryant College Graduate Tax Program and is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. JOHN O. MANCINI is a partner at the Law Offices of Michael A. Kelly, P.C., where he focuses his practice on real estate, business and corporate matters, representing major real estate developers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, construction companies and financial institutions. Mr. Mancini also concentrates in the areas administrative law, regulating real estate development. As a Cranston citywide councilman, he was the chairman of the finance committee, vice chair of the ordinance committee and member of the public works and claims committee. Mr. Mancini's municipal legislative experience lends to his ability to assist and counsel clients through the process of real estate development and agency approval. Consequently, he has ushered numerous residential and commercial projects through the maze of regulatory approval throughout Rhode Island. Mr. Mancini earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Boston College and his J.D. degree from Boston University. He is a member of the American, Rhode Island and Massachusetts bar associations.
