SAMUEL C. BODURTHA is an attorney with the law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, where his practice areas include insurance coverage and insurance defense. Mr. Bodurtha handles all phases of litigation in federal and state courts, including drafting motions and memoranda and preparing matters for hearing. He also manages case discovery plans, evidence and case administration. Mr. Bodurtha is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Bowdoin College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. MICHAEL J. DALY is an attorney with the law firm of Pierce Atwood LLP, where he focuses his practice on litigation of commercial, insurance and maritime disputes. He has tried or arbitrated matters involving complex contract disputes, claims of defective construction techniques, breaches of insurance contracts and legal malpractice. In addition to being the leader of his firm's Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group, Mr. Daly is an assistant instructor of federal practice/commercial litigation at the Roger Williams University School of Law; and a frequent author and speaker on topics including admiralty law, insurance coverage, and federal court practice and procedure. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Rhode Island and his J.D. degree from Roger Williams University School of Law. Mr. Daly is the former chair and a current vice chair of the Admiralty Committee of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association; and a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Maritime Law Association and the Rhode Island Bar Association. JOHN F. KELLEHER is a partner in the Providence law firm of Higgins, Cavanagh & Cooney LLP, where his practice is devoted primarily to business litigation, product liability, insurance coverage and general civil defense. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Mr. Kelleher earned his J.D. degree from Boston University. He frequently presents at seminars focusing on the substantive and procedural issues that arise in the context of civil litigation. He is a member of the Rhode Island and American bar associations; the Defense Research Institute; and the Defense Counsel of Rhode Island, where he currently holds the office of vice president.
