MICHAEL J. COLUCCI is a senior partner at the law firm of Olenn & Penza, LLP, where his specialty area is the defense of police and municipal officials in misconduct and civil rights litigation. His experience includes white-collar criminal defense and complex litigation at the state and federal level. Mr. Devereaux represents individuals and corporations in grand jury investigations and is the author of "Rhode Island's Guide to Grand Jury Service." Prior to entering private practice, he served as an assistant attorney general during which time he led the prosecution of organized crime and environmental violations as well as act as the supervising attorney for grand jury investigations. Mr Devereaux is also a captain in the U.S. Naval Reserve, Judge Advocate General's Corps, currently assigned at the Naval War College in Newport. He earned his B.A. degree from Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University School of Law.
