LORI A. CARLINO is a senior tax manager at Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd., specializing in high net worth individuals and family tax services. She joined the firm in 2008, bringing a solid background in all phases of tax planning and compliance. Ms. Carlino has more than 19 years of experience working with closely held businesses and their owners specializing in estate tax matters, tax return compliance, and a wide range of business and tax issues. She is treasurer of Camp Surefire Foundation. Ms. Carlino is a Certified Public Accountant in Rhode Island and is a member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from University of Rhode Island. DREW P. KAPLAN is a partner in the law firm of Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years and currently practices in the areas of federal taxation, general business, corporate law, low income housing tax credits and estate planning. Mr. Kaplan earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from Boston University Law School. He was an instructor at the Bryant College Graduate Tax Program and is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association.
