DREW P. KAPLAN is a partner in the law firm of Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years and currently practices in the areas of federal taxation, general business, corporate law, low income housing tax credits and estate planning. Mr. Kaplan earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from Boston University Law School. He was an instructor at the Bryant College Graduate Tax Program and is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. MATTHEW J. LEONARD is an attorney in the Providence law firm of Salter McGowan Sylvia & Leonard, Inc. Mr. Leonard practices in the areas of estate planning and asset protection planning, Medicaid planning, real estate, probate administration and related litigation. He is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts bar associations, and The Florida Bar. Mr. Leonard has lectured on "Drafting Revocable Trusts", "Asset Protection Planning Strategies" and "Buying or Selling a Business." He is the president of the Providence College Alumni Association and a principal owner of a title insurance agency. Mr. Leonard earned his B.S. degree from Providence College and his J.D. degree from Roger Williams University School of Law. LILLIAN M. LLOYD is an attorney in the Providence law firm of Visconti & Boren, Ltd. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, business planning, asset protection, elder law, disability planning and probate practice. Ms. Lloyd is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning, elder law and Medicaid for National Business Institute and Educational Services, Inc. Ms. Lloyd has been a featured speaker at the Rhode Island Bar's annual meeting. She has been published in the Rhode Island Bar Journal. Ms. Lloyd earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, and her M.A. and C.A.G.S. degrees from Rhode Island College, her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University, and her M.S. degree from Bryant College. She is a member of the Rhode Island (member, sections on Probate and Trust) and American bar associations. Ms. Lloyd also is a member of the MA Chapter of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
