FRED B. BUCK is a partner in the law firm of Rawle & Henderson LLP, in Philadelphia, where his practice involves the defense of personal injury litigation, including general negligence, automobile, product liability and construction site accidents, as well as the representation of life, health and disability insurers in misrepresentation cases, breach of contract cases, interpleaders and garnishment actions. He also has participated in the defense of an antitrust case, defamation actions, Dragonetti Act claims, employment actions, civil rights actions, dramshop cases, insurance coverage disputes and statutory bad faith cases. Mr. Buck earned his A.B. degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law. He is a member of the American and Philadelphia bar associations. KATHLEEN L. DAERR-BANNON is a sole practitioner in Philadelphia and is an experienced neutral available to serve in a variety of ADR matters, including early neutral evaluation, mediation, arbitration, facilitation, conciliation, and as Judge Pro Tem. Approximately 16 years ago, she trained and began the practice of mediation in tort and insurance matters, including individual personal injury claims and also Manville asbestos mediation. In addition, Ms. Daerr-Bannon continued to serve as a neutral locally, nationally and in London, in the field of individual and mass tort/class action claims, including programs such as Dalkon Shield, Piper Aircraft and Silicone Breast Implant. More recently, she was appointed as a mediator and later as an arbitrator in the Smith Barney Dispute Resolution Process and as arbitrator in the Merrill Lynch Claims Resolution Process, class actions involving employment discrimination. Ms. Daerr-Bannon has served as mediator for EEOC, NARA and REDRESS, hearing examiner for SEPTA in post-determination hearings, arbitrator for AAA in individual and class action matters, arbitrator and mediator for NASD and has been consulted in the design of an employment ADR program for a Fortune 500 corporation, as well as serving on a number of other private and court panels. Ms. Daerr-Bannon has conducted more than 1,000 arbitration, mediation and facilitation hearings in the substantive areas of commercial, employment, automobile, premises liability, medical and other professional negligence, insurance, aviation, consumer, securities and general tort and contract litigation, as well as continuing to counsel clients in ADR settings. She is on the faculty at Temple University Fox School of Business, has taught at Temple University Japan Campus in Tokyo and has served as guest lecturer at Villanova School of Law. For several years, she was co-chair of the ADR committees of both the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania bar associations and a course planner for the first and second statewide ADR Institutes. In 2007, she continued as a course planner for the Third Annual ADR Institute in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. HEATHER TASHMAN FRITTS is an attorney with the firm Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP, where she is a member of the firm's litigation practice group. Ms. Fritts focuses her practice on general litigation, specifically in the areas of securities litigation, mortgage and lending litigation and insurance coverage. She has lectured and authored articles on various issues affecting the mortgage and insurance industries including, but not limited to, business interruption coverage, hybrid securities and subprime mortgages and securities litigation. Ms. Fritts received her B.A. degree and B.S. degree, cum laude, from Tulane University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law. She also holds an M.B.A. degree from Villanova University. Ms. Fritts is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is chair of the Insurance Law Committee. JEFFREY P. WALLACK is a partner in the law firm of Wisler Pearlstine, LLP, where he practices in the areas of construction law, insurance law, and commercial and civil litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry. Mr. Wallack often gives seminars for both construction industry professionals and legal professionals, having recently lectured on Pennsylvania's Mechanic's Lien Law and Pennsylvania Construction Defect and Mold Litigation. He earned his A.B. degree at Princeton University and his J.D. degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania bar associations and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
