GARY P. BIEHN is a partner in, and chair of, the business department of White and Williams LLP. He focuses on assisting clients in the pursuit of global business opportunities. Mr. Biehn works closely with clients to form and structure ventures between U.S. and strategic partners throughout the world. He regularly works closely with White and Williams LLP's strategic law firm alliance in Shanghai, as well as advisors in China and Europe, to assist businesses in forming strategic partnerships and pursuing business opportunities in those regions. Mr. Biehn participates and has spoken on many international business matters, including "Strategies for Trade and Investment in China", and "Exporting to China: Seizing Opportunity and Managing Risk". He served as moderator for "Hong Kong - Turning China into Opportunity". Mr. Biehn served as a panelist on numerous executive roundtable discussions on China, including "Ten Questions You Should Ask About Doing Business in China-and the Answers!" He moderated a panel discussion titled "Chinese Companies, Brands & Investors Going Global" at the China Business Boot Camp event. In June of 2010, Mr. Biehn again participated at the China International Private Equity Forum in Tianjin, China, for the fourth consecutive year. He is a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce Mid-Atlantic District Export Council and a member of the Board of Directors of World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia. Mr. Biehn earned his B.B.A. degree from the School of Business and Management at Temple University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Duke University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association. JOHN S. CHILD JR. is an attorney with Paul & Paul, where his main areas of practice are patent, trademark, copyright and unfair competition. Mr. Child co-founded the Joint Patent Practice Continuing Legal Education Seminar and has served on the planning committee since the Joint Seminar's inception. He co-presented a seminar on U.S. Patent Law in Munich, Germany, for the FORUM - Institut Fur Management GmbH. He will be the revising author of the 2012 edition of A Practical Guide to Document Authentication: Legalization of Notarized and Certified Documents published by Oxford University Press. Mr. Child is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New York State bar associations. He earned his B.S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his B. Litt. degree from St. Edmond Hall of the University of Oxford and his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. JONATHAN J. GREYSTONE is of counsel with Spector Gadon & Rosen, P.C., where he practices with the firm's international law, banking and financial services, and commercial litigation practice groups. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, asset securitizations, asset based lending, and corporate governance, in addition to more general corporate services and commercial contract formation. Mr. Greystone specializes in N. E. Asian business ventures. His litigation practice includes consumer litigation, class actions, contract breaches and interference, securities and white collar crime. Mr. Greystone is a member of the New York State and Philadelphia bar associations, and the Philadelphia District Attorneys Alumni Association and the American Foreign Service Association. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Manitoba and his M.A. degree from the American University School of International Service. He attended Antioch School of Law, Antioch University, and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, graduating with his J.D. degree. Mr. Greystone is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York. He also is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Greystone has been selected by the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas to serve as a Judge Pro Tempore. He also is an appointed member of the State of New York Special Committee on Judicial Discipline. WEIHONG HSING is an attorney with Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, where she specialized in patent related issues in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical arts. Her practice involves the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, opinion work on patent validity and infringement, due diligence, rights to operate and patentability analyses, as well as technical support for patent litigation. Ms. Hsing is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State bar associations and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China and her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts. Ms. Hsing had four years of postdoctoral training in genetics and molecular biology at Princeton University. She earned her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Temple University, where she was a member of the Giles S. Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Team. WILLIAM C. HUSSEY II is a partner in the tax and estates practice group of the business department of White and Williams LLP. He focuses his practice on matters of federal, state, local and international taxation. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, Mr. Hussey counsels clients in structuring their business and investment affairs in a tax-efficient manner, including the formation and operation of business entities, and structuring taxable and non-taxable acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures. He assists clients with all phases of estate and wealth transfer planning and administration. Mr. Hussey also consults with clients regarding the establishment, operation and termination of qualified and non-qualified pension and welfare benefit plans. He advises non-profit clients on issues regarding the qualification and maintenance of tax-exempt status. Mr. Hussey earned his B.S. degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. and MBA degrees, cum laude, from Temple University; and his LL.M. degree from Temple University. Mr. Hussey is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the American and Philadelphia bar associations, and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. Mr. Hussey has lectured frequently on estate planning and administration topics and publishes articles regularly in the tax and estate planning areas. In 2006 and 2007, he was named in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Rising Star" attorney by Law & Politics magazine. CHUNSHENG LU is an associate in the business department of White and Williams LLP and a member of the China business practice group. While he focuses his practice on corporate and business matters, his experience with domestic mergers and acquisitions, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and compliance, and general corporate governance, has allowed Mr. Lu to focus on international business transactions as well. He regularly advises U.S. clients doing business in China and Chinese clients doing business in the U.S. Previously a lawyer in China, Mr. Lu has an intimate understanding of China's legal and business environment and close relationships with professionals working in both arenas. He regularly speaks and presents at various legal and business seminars. Mr. Lu earned his LL.B. degree from Soochow University School of Law in China and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, graduating second in his class, from Widener University School of Law. During law school, he was a member of the Widener Law Review and a recipient of the James S. Bowman American Inn of Court award. Prior to joining White and Williams LLP, Mr. Lu served as a law clerk for the Honorable Bonnie Brigance Leadbetter of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and China, and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania bar associations. Recently, Mr. Lu was chosen as a 2009 Diverse Attorney of the year by the Legal Intelligencer for significant contributions to the practice of law. He also was selected by The Legal Intelligencer and the Pennsylvania Law Weekly as one of 35 Lawyers on the Fast Track, an honor that features future leaders in Pennsylvania's legal community. WILLIAM W. UCHIMOTO is a shareholder with Stevens & Lee P.C. He is the chair of the China practice and a member of the corporate, finance and capital markets department. Mr. Uchimoto is a leading legal authority on securities, regulatory and compliance matters and a prominent advisor to Chinese companies seeking to become U.S. public companies and establishing their listings on U.S. securities exchanges. He also regularly advises U.S. retail, industrial and other commercial companies on partnering with Chinese businesses and establishing operations in China. Mr. Uchimoto regularly travels to China, and through his contacts and experience, has established extensive business and government contracts there. He also represents broker-dealers, investment advisors, securities exchanges, hedge funds, public and private companies and other financial market participants in various transactional and regulatory matters. Mr. Uchimoto is a faculty member of the International Law Institute and a member of the Securities Industry Institute of the Wharton School and Securities Industry Association. He is a former co-chairman of the Minorities in the Profession Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association and served as co-chair of the Sponsorship Committee of the 2006 National Convention of the National Asian Pacific Bar Association. Mr. Uchimoto also is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association. He has spoken at numerous national conferences on sourcing capital for privately held companies. Mr. Uchimoto earned his B.A. degree from the University of California and his J.D. degree from the University of California Hastings College of Law.
