SCOTT M. AMORI founded what would become the Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, law firm of Amori & Riegel, LLC in 1996 with Brett J. Riegel. He concentrates his practice in the fields of estate planning, estate administration, bankruptcy, real estate and property, business, civil litigation and intellectual property. Mr. Amori is admitted to practice in the courts of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Federal Middle District and the Pennsylvania Federal Eastern District. His diverse experience has brought him before the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at levels, from local district judges through the Pennsylvania appellate courts, as well as representing his clients before numerous municipality boards, zoning boards and governmental agencies. Mr. Amori is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Middle District (Pennsylvania) Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association Estate Attorneys Committee. He participates in strengthening his community as an active member of the Rotary Club of the Smithfields, a local chapter of the renowned international organization Rotary International, having twice served as president. Mr. Amori regularly participates as a volunteer lecturer for the high school students of the Monroe County public schools and through the Pocono Mountain Chamber of Commerce. He earned his J.D. degree from the Dickinson School of Law and his B.A. degree, cum laude, from East Stroudsburg University. STEPHEN G. BRESSET is an attorney with Bresset & Santora, LLC, where he has practiced commercial and bankruptcy law and litigation throughout Pennsylvania and the region for more than 30 years. During his time in practice, Mr. Bresset has represented debtors in more than 50 Chapter 11 proceedings in Pennsylvania, as well as creditors, creditor committees and trustees at virtually every level of bankruptcy proceedings, and debtors in more than 1,000 Chapter 7 proceedings. He is admitted to the State Courts of Pennsylvania, the three U.S. District Courts in Pennsylvania, as well as the three bankruptcy courts and the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Bresset has always been an active member of his community and the bar associations of which he is a member. He has served as an office holder in the Wayne County Bar Association, as well as a committee chair in both associations and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Bresset has also been a featured speaker at numerous seminars throughout Pennsylvania in litigation, commercial law and bankruptcy law topics. He earned his J.D. degree, with honors, from Widener University School of Law.
