LORI KLINGMAN, MSN, RN, has a Legal Nurse Consulting business in which she reviews medical records for medical malpractice cases. She is a Medical-Surgical Nurse Expert in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. Throughout her career, Ms. Klingman maintained her clinical skills by working in a community hospital as a staff nurse, charge nurse, clinical supervisor and taught in the education department along with collecting research data for the hospital. She is a published author in Heart and Lung: The Journal of Acute and Critical Care Nursing, completing an independent nursing research project regarding heparin injection, and has written two assessment articles that have been published in the American Journal of Nursing. Ms. Klingman also has written chapters for several nursing textbooks. She earned her ADN degree from Clarion University, her BSN degree from Pennsylvania State University and her MSN degree from LaRoche College. Ms. Klingman served as secretary and as a board member for the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania League of Nursing for over 10 years. She also has served as the secretary, and presently as president of the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Chapter of Legal Nurse Consultants.

GARY M. LANG is a senior partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Feldstein Grinberg Stein & McKee, P.C. He is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Lang is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer each year since 2005. Since 1992, he has co-written the Allegheny County Count of Common Pleas Civil Practice Manual published by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Mr. Lang is a published author in his fields of practice, and a frequent lecturer on topics relating to civil procedure, personal injury, medical malpractice and ethics. He practices in the fields of professional negligence, personal injury and products liability litigation. Mr. Lang is a member and former governor of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, former chair of the Allegheny County Bench Bar Committee, former member of the Board of Governors of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, and a recipient of one of the Foundation's pro bono awards. Additionally, he has been honored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association with two pro bono awards. A graduate of the College of William and Mary, he earned his J.D. degree from the Capital University School of Law.

RAY F. MIDDLEMAN is the managing director in the office of Malone Middleman, P.C. He is a litigation attorney whose areas of practice include commercial and civil litigation. Mr. Middleman represents clients in trademark, products liability, medical and psychiatric malpractice defense, business torts and civil litigation. He also represents several insurance carriers and has extensive experience in the area of transportation litigation, including matters before the Public Utility Commission. Mr. Middleman earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University and his J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law. He is a member of the Allegheny County and American bar associations, and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.

JOHN E. QUINN is currently a partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Portnoy & Quinn, LLC. He served two years as an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel with the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania from 1976 to 1978. Since that time, he has practiced exclusively in civil litigation, including product liability, legal malpractice and general tort claims. Mr. Quinn has been active in the Allegheny County Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Lawyers Referral Committee and the Civil Litigation Section. He is a past president of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Quinn is a long time member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and is currently Comptroller of that organization. He is past president of the St. Thomas More Society. Mr. Quinn is a member and served on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He has for several years, been listed as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and can be found in The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Quinn has served as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Duquesne University School of Law. He has lectured extensively for the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice in the areas of insurance law, trial practice and ethics. Mr. Quinn is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law.
