PAUL K. GEER is a shareholder in the Pittsburgh law firm of DiBella Geer McAllister & Best, P.C. His law practice involves a variety of insurance litigation including defense of bad faith claims. Mr. Geer has tried cases containing bad faith claims to verdict in five states. He has provided numerous seminars and lectures to his clients within the insurance industry. Mr. Geer earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, majoring in history and education. After teaching high school history for two years, he enrolled in Duquesne University School of Law where he graduated in 1978. Mr. Geer is a member of the American and Allegheny County bar associations. He has been a regular participant in the Property Loss Research Bureau. Mr. Geer's law practice has consisted largely of bad faith defense litigation since the Pennsylvania Bad Faith Statute was passed. He has served as a bad faith course planner for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and has presented numerous bad faith seminars for National Business Institute.

ANDREW M. ROMAN is a director in the Pittsburgh office of Cohen & Grigsby P.C., where he also heads the firm's insurance coverage litigation practice area. He regularly represents corporate plaintiffs in claims and suits against their insurance companies, including suits for bad faith. Mr. Roman is an adjunct professor of law at Duquesne University School of Law, where he has taught courses on environmental law and toxic torts. He has also spoken previously on insurance bad faith for National Business Institute. Mr. Roman earned his B.A. degree from Bucknell University and he attended Duquesne University Law School where he graduated in 1976, and was editor-in-chief of the Duquesne Law Review. Mr. Roman is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations.
