HARPER J. DIMMERMAN is an adjunct professor at Temple University's Fox School of Business and a columnist with The Legal Intelligencer. He lectures to other attorneys, has been interviewed by various media outlets and featured by The Legal Intelligencer. Mr Dimmerman is the recipient of the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars designation in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. He is published with the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations. Mr. Dimmerman is the principal and founder of The Law Office of Harper J. Dimmerman P.C., a boutique Philadelphia-based practice with an emphasis upon Pennsylvania and New Jersey general litigation and real estate matters. In his capacity as an approved attorney, he is authorized to provide land title insurance throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for residential and commercial transactions. Mr. Dimmerman is co-founder of a real estate consulting company. He is co-chair of the Law Practice Management Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Mr. Dimmerman recently served as a board member of the Naval Square Condominium Association, was co-editor for the Brandeis Law Society publication, was co-chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association from 2004-2009, was a voting member of the Young Lawyer's Division from 2005-2007 and was a member of Philadelphia County's Mortgage Foreclosure Steering Committee. JAMES S. ETTELSON is a partner with the law firm of Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP, in Philadelphia. He practices in the areas of corporate law, business law, real estate law, land use and zoning. Mr. Ettelson has represented a number of major commercial and residential developers and has been involved in a diverse range of real estate litigation. He is a frequent lecturer on topics related to zoning and land use law, real estate transactions and condominium/planned community law and is an adjunct professor at St. Josephs University. Mr. Ettelson is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania; the U.S. Court of Appeals, 3rd Circuit; and the Supreme Court of the U.S. He earned his B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. degree from Temple University. Mr. Ettelson is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American bar associations. He also has served more than four years as a member of his township's Planning Commission and was elected to three full terms as a Lower Merion Township Commissioner and subsequently served as board president. MICHAEL MATTIONI is president of Mattioni, Ltd., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, land use and corporate law. Mr. Mattioni advises and counsels his clients in all aspects of the acquisition and development of real estate. He has appeared before boards and commissions in applications for zoning and land use approvals in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties of Pennsylvania. Mr. Mattioni is a frequent lecturer on his areas of expertise and contributes monthly to the publication The Fallser. He is a member of Plymouth Township, Montgomery County Zoning Hearing Board. Mr. Mattioni is the chair of the Old City District, a business improvement district in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia that works to keep Old City clean and safe. Mr. Mattioni earned his B.A. degree from Villanova University, his J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his LL.M. degree from Temple University School of Law. JON S. ROBINS is a partner with Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branzburg LLP in the firm's real estate and finance department. His practice includes a full range of real estate finance and real estate activities for capital markets and institutional lenders, fund managers, developers, corporations and investors. Mr. Robins has extensive experience representing lenders, including banks, insurance companies, conduit lenders and private equity funds, in the origination, purchase, sale, restructuring and enforcement of mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, subordinate ("B") Notes, participation interests and preferred equity investments, and in structuring and negotiating intercreditor, co-lender and participation and servicing agreements. His practice includes the representation of lenders and borrowers in complex work-outs and restructurings of mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments in the greater Philadelphia region and nationally. Mr. Robins regularly advises mortgage and mezzanine lenders and preferred equity investors as to the strategies and tactics for resolving default situations. He is currently representing mezzanine lenders and preferred equity investors in enforcing their remedies, taking control of the subject properties and where applicable, conducting the requisite UCC sale. Mr. Robins regularly represents CMBS lenders in the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans often involving unique or complicated structures, and is one of the leading attorneys in the country with respect to tenancy-in-common financing. Mr. Robins advises companies on strategic real estate decisions, and has extensive experience representing both acquirers and targets with respect to the real estate aspects of corporate M&A transactions. ROSENWALD is a sole practitioner in Philadelphia, where he practices in the areas of real estate, commercial law trust and estate law, and general litigation. He has lectured in the areas of real estate law, credit and collection practice, eminent domain law and trust and estate law to various professional groups. Mr. Rosenwald received his B.S. and J.D. degrees, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and Law School. He served as chairman of the Eminent Domain Committee and chairman of the Vendors and Purchases Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. LISA M. SWAN is an associate with Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP, where she is a member of the firm's corporate and commercial group. She has a wide variety of experience in commercial transactions and real estate. Ms. Swan also focuses her practice in the areas of complex commercial and general litigation. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Texas, her J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Villanova University School of Law. Ms. Swan is admitted to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. DAWN M. TANCREDI is a shareholder at Mattioni, Ltd., where her practice focuses on business and real estate law. She works with Philadelphia City Council members, the Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustments, the Philadelphia Historical Commission, the Department of Licenses and Inspections, the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, the Streets Department and the Water Department to obtain approval for zoning, use, building and related permits for real estate developers. Ms. Tancredi appears regularly before the Board of Revision of Taxes for real estate tax exemption, abatement and market value appeals. Her experience also includes representing clients in complex real estate transactions. Ms. Tancredi is accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate, or A LEED 7 GA, which certifies her as having knowledge about Green Building requirements. Ms. Tancredi graduated from St. Joseph's University (1996) and the Temple University Beasley School of Law (2000), where she was Note/Comment Editor of The Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Tancredi began her career clerking for the Honorable Mary D. Colins in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
