August 15 - Harrisburg NEELY E MEALS is an attorney in the law firm of Reager & Adler, PC, where she focuses her practice in residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, elder law, and business law. As a member of the estate planning and elder law team, her focus has been to develop a comprehensive model for the firm's life plan portfolio. Ms. Meals also is recognized as the public face of the firm's estate and elder care practice areas. She earned her B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. degree from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Meals is a member of the Pennsylvania, Cumberland County and Dauphin County bar associations, and the Harrisburg Young Professionals. WENDY K. WEIKAL-BEAUCHAT is a partner in the law firm of Beauchat & Beauchat, LLC in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She is a member of Maryland State and Pennsylvania bar associations. Ms. Beauchat is a member of several professional organizations, including The National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, Wealth Counsel, LLC, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. She lectures for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and on a regional basis for many organizations. Ms. Beauchat is heavily involved in community education with regard to the importance of estate planning for all phases of life, and is a member of the Adams County Task Force on Aging. She served for eight years as the solicitor to the sheriff of Adams County, and is the past president of the Pennsylvania Sheriffs' Solicitors Association. Ms. Beauchat earned her B.S. degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore. JAN M. WILEY is the founding senior partner of The Wiley Group, P.C. in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Wiley practices in the area of estate planning, estate administration, elder law, business organizations and real estate. He served as president of the York County Bar Association, and he is a member of the Pennsylvania and American bar associations. Mr. Wiley has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Association for the past 14 years. He earned his J.D. from Penn State University/Dickinson School of Law, and his B.A. degree from Dickinson College, where he was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Society. Mr. Wiley was chairman of the advisory board of Mellon Bank from 1970 to 1999. He is currently admitted to practice before the Supreme and Superior courts of Pennsylvania, as well as the Supreme Court of the U.S. In addition to speaking for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Mr. Wiley has spoken to many local service organizations and churches throughout his career. Also, he is a director of numerous private and charitable corporations. Mr. Wiley also served as Assistant District Attorney for York County from 1969-1973. August 18 - Scranton BRENDA D. COLBERT is an attorney in the law firm of Marshall, Parker & Associates, LLC. She earned her bachelor degree from Mansfield University. After working for several years as a social worker in nursing facilities, she went on to law school, graduating, magna cum laude, from Touro Law Center. Ms. Colbert then proceeded to the University of Miami School of Law, where she earned her advanced LL.M degree. She has been practicing law as an elder law, special needs planning, and estate planning attorney in the Wilkes-Barre and Scranton area since 2002. Ms. Colbert is a Board Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. She is a frequent speaker for community and professional groups on issues affecting the elderly and people with special needs. Ms. Colbert is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as the Pennsylvania Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is co-chair of the Wilkes-Barre Law Library Elder Law Committee and is a member of the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk Committee. MARIANNE K FOGELSANGER is a partner with the Law Offices of Kreisher and Gregorowicz, where she practices in the areas of elder law, trust and estate planning, estate administration, asset protection and Medicaid and Veterans planning. She is a VA accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for veterans benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs. Ms. Fogelsanger earned her B.A. degree from Penn State University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Following law school, Ms. Fogelsanger served as a deputy attorney general with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney Generals in the Criminal Appeals Division for eight years. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys and the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Elder Law Section). DAVID R. LIPKA is a sole practitioner in Plymouth, and is a certified elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. His practice focuses on elder law, estate and Medicaid planning, estate probate and administration, guardianships and special needs trusts. Mr. Lipka frequently lectures on these topics at seminars approved for continuing education credits for accountants, attorneys and financial planners. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mr. Lipka also is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, where he serves as director for continuing legal education programs. He earned his B.A. degree from King's College and his J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law.
