MATTHEW P. KERIS is an attorney with the law firm Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin where his areas of practice include medical malpractice, general liability (slip fall), and auto defense work. Mr. Keris has handled hundreds of medical malpractice matters, both as an attorney and an adjuster, including the management of claims in the Philadelphia area. He has represented a number of physicians, medical groups, and health care institutions in health care liability matters and provided advice and guidance in quality assurance, personnel, privacy and health care records issues. He lectures extensively, both locally and nationally, on issues pertaining to medical malpractice through educational institutions. Mr. Keris is recognized nationally for his expertise in electronic medical record issues. He also advised medical institutions on the establishment of policies and procedures regarding responses to electronic discovery. Mr. Keris earned his bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and his juris doctorate degree from Roger William University School of Law. Mr. Keris is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and the Lackawanna County and Pennsylvania bar associations.

CINDY S. SERGE is an attorney with Perry Law Firm, where her main areas of practice include insurance defense, medical malpractice, general liability and casualty. She is admitted to the Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court as well as the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Serge has co-written Textbook Adoption and Other Landmark Decisions: the Coverage of Court Cases in Criminal Justice Textbooks. She is a member of the Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania and American bar associations. Ms. Serge earned her B.S. degree from the University of Scranton and her J.D. degree from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.

DINA BETH STEWART is a litigation paralegal with Rosenn Jenkins & Greenwald LLP, where she concentrates her practice in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, auto and medical malpractice. She handles all aspects of the case from initial client contact to trial preparation and participation. Ms. Stewart earned her B.A. degree from Wilkes University and her associates degree/paralegal from Luzerne County Community College. She is a past presenter for National Business Institute and has taught classes at Lackawanna College in the paralegal program.
