KENNETH F. CAROBUS is a member of the Philadelphia law firm of Morris & Adelman, P.C., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial law, collection law and creditors' rights law in bankruptcy. Mr. Carobus is a frequent lecturer on collection matters, bankruptcy and the FDCPA. He is the author of Debt Collection in Pennsylvania. Mr. Carobus earned his B.S. degree from Loyola University, his J.D. degree from Georgetown University and his LL.M. degree from Temple University. He is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania bar associations, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. GREGORY W. FOX is an attorney with the law firm of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, where he focuses his practice on the defense of claims made and suits brought against attorneys, accountants and other professionals. He also defends clients in commercial litigation. Mr. Fox previously focused his practice on commercial litigation, creditor-rights litigation and municipal litigation. He has successfully represented clients in federal and state courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Fox has exposure to the area of foreclosure. He previously represented mortgage companies and mortgage servicers in a variety of foreclosure and foreclosure related litigation including contested foreclosures, lien priority disputes, bankruptcy actions to set aside tax sales and claims brought under TILA and FDCPA. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Richmond and his J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law. RONALD METCHO is an attorney with the law firm of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, where he focuses his practice on professional liability matters including creditors' rights defense, privacy issues, as well as business and commercial law matters. Mr. Metcho's practice is primarily focused on the defense of claims brought against debt collection companies premised on violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and various related state law claims. He earned his B.A. degree from Wilkes University, his J.D. degree from the Roger Williams University School of Law and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Rhode Island. Mr. Metcho is licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. DREW SALAMAN is the principal of Salaman Law Offices (A Professional corporation), where he concentrates his practice in the areas of creditors' rights, commercial litigation, enforcement of judgments, real estate and bankruptcy. He received his B.A. degree from Temple University (1968 with honors in political science), and his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania (1971). He served in the United States Army Reserve from 1969 to 1975 and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant. Admitted to the bar in 1972, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Israel Packel, Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and the Honorable Edward B. Rosenberg, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He served as trial and appellate counsel for the Defender Association of Philadelphia from 1972 to 1976. Mr. Salaman is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations, the Commercial Law League of America, the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society, and the Lawyers' Club of Philadelphia. He has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (course planner), the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Temple University School of Law, the Pennsylvania Credit Union League, the National Association of Credit Management, Credit Congress, the Lumberman's Exchange, National Business Institute, the Board of Judges of the Municipal Court and others. He is the 1988 principal draftsperson of the Philadelphia Municipal Court Rules of Civil Practice, a former director of the Pennsylvania Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, a former director and managing officer of the Rossini Savings Association, a former director of Cornerstone Savings Association and a former director and president of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. He is the author of two chapters of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute publication entitled Collecting and Enforcing Judgments: Execution Practice: Enforcement of Money Judgments from Law Books to Street Justice and A Summary of Exemptions from Execution Under Pennsylvania and Federal Law. J. SCOTT WATSON is the owner of J. Scott Watson, P.C., in Glen Mills, where his practice is devoted to collections, personal injury and general practice. Mr. Watson is a member of the Commercial Law League and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, and is a partner in Collection Recovery Services, Inc., a collection agency in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Delaware County bar associations, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Watson earned his A.B. degree from Lafayette College and his J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.
