ALEXIA KITA BLAKE is owner of Blake Law Offices, LLC, where she manages the firm's labor/employment law practice, with emphasis on representation of public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. Prior to opening her own office, she was the Labor Solicitor for Lackawanna County in Scranton, where she represented Lackawanna County in all aspects of labor relations for six separate bargaining units. Ms. Blake has previous lecture experience and was an adjunct faculty member for the graduate school of Health Administration & Human Resources at the University of Scranton, where she taught employment law class to Human Resource Administration graduate students. She earned her B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from University of Scranton and her J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law. Ms. Blake is a Certified Mediator, by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Lackawanna County bar associations, and is a founding board member of Circle 200. Ms. Blake also is a member and former chairperson of the Foster Grandparent Program Advisory Council of Luzerne and Wyoming Counties. She is a Graduate of Leadership Wilkes-Barre. ANN B. CIANFLONE is a partner in the law firm of Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP, where she focuses her practice in labor and employment law, business and corporate law, and real estate. She earned her B.A. degree from Syracuse University and her J.D. degree from Widener University, The Delaware Law School. Ms. Cianflone is a member of the Luzerne County Bar Association, Lackawanna County Bar Association, Society of Human Resource Professionals, New York State Bar Association and the Broome County Bar Association. She also is involved with the Scranton Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program. Ms. Cianflone has been published in the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal. JEFFREY M. RAIDER specializes in human resources and labor consulting. His 40 year career spans various executive positions in the fields of human resources and law. Most recently, Mr. Raider served as vice president of human resources and general counsel for Dempsey Uniform and Linen Service. Prior to that position, he was senior counsel with Ufberg & Sileo, LLP, a Scranton based labor and employment law firm. He also spent 23 years in human resources executive positions with two multi-national corporations and four years as a field attorney with the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Raider provides advice and counsel to employers in connection with a broad range of labor and employment issues, including corrective discipline, union prevention, sexual harassment, reductions in force and employment discrimination. He also has represented clients in labor and commercial arbitrations, unemployment litigation, and administrative proceedings before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mr. Raider earned his B.A. degree from New York University and his J.D. degree from St. John's School of Law in New York City. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York. Mr. Raider frequently participates in regional seminars and panel discussions on various human resources topics, and has conducted numerous management training sessions on union prevention, sexual harassment and employee relations.
