DANIEL H. GLASSER is a founding member of Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC, Pennsylvania's largest law firm concentrating solely in family law. Mr. Glasser has practiced for more than 20 years and has tried hundreds of cases in all areas of family law, many involving multiple expert witnesses, complex economic issues or complicated child custody matters. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2007 and listed in Best Lawyers in America in 2009 through 2012. He earned his B.S. degree, in accounting, from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and president of his class. Mr. Glasser is a member of Family Law sections of the American, Pennsylvania and the Allegheny County bar associations and has served on and chaired various bar association committees. He is a frequent writer and speaker on family law topics and has spoken in multiple venues including Vancouver, Boston, Bermuda, Toronto and numerous cities in Pennsylvania. MARK K. GUBINSKY is the owner of The Gubinsky Law Firm, P.C. Prior to founding The Gubinsky Law Firm, P.C. in 2011, he was a shareholder and president of a family law firm in Pittsburgh. An attorney since 1994, Mr. Gubinsky strives to provide each client with personal, responsive and cost-effective representation. He believes that individuals and families in transition deserve compassionate, reasonable representation. He uses his years of experience in family law issues to evaluate each client's case and work with the client to formulate a course of action appropriate for each individual's unique situation. Mr. Gubinsky recognizes that the families of today sometimes face complex issues and that respect and discretion is imperative. His professional training and accomplishments include: he trained in collaborative law and is a founding member and immediate past president of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania; he is active in local professional organizations, including the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Family Law Section Council, the Family Law Section's Child Support Guidelines Committee; he chairs the Allegheny County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service Committee; and he frequently lectures on family law topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and Cape Institute. Mr. Gubinsky obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in 1990 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1994. ALEX M. KINDLER is a partner in business valuation and litigation services for Horovitz, Rudoy & Roteman in Pittsburgh. He testifies as an expert witness on business valuation and litigation matters in civil and criminal proceedings as well as arbitration hearings. Mr. Kindler is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified valuation analyst (CVA). He also holds an accreditation in business valuation (ABV) and a certification in data processing (CDP) management. He is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and is currently the Western Pennsylvania state chapter president for NACVA. Mr. Kindler also is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a published author and frequent speaker at professional and education seminars and he is an editorial board member for the national business valuation newsletter, Viewpoint on Value. Mr. Kindler is a course instructor for the National CPA Conference on business valuation, the PICPA Accounting and Auditing Conference, the CPA Practitioners' Conference, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the CPA Continuing Education for Community College of Allegheny County. He is admitted in court and master's hearings as an expert witness in business valuation, disposable income, fairness opinions and economic damage cases in the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and the Pennsylvania counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Washington, Westmoreland, Cambria and Dauphin. Mr. Kindler is licensed in life and annuities as a PA resident agent, and as a general securities representative for Series 7 & Series 63. He earned his undergraduate education in economics at Knox College and his Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in finance and accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. DANA A. LEVINE is an attorney with the law firm of Pollock Begg Komar Glasser & Vertz LLC, where her areas of practice include family law, divorce and domestic relations. She is a parent coordinator, as appointed by the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, and was named as a 2007 Rising Star Pennsylvania attorney by Pennsylvania Law & Politics magazine. Ms. Levine served on the faculty of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's continuing legal education class, Bankruptcy for Domestic Relations Practice in March 2006. She is also a past presenter at other National Business Institute family law seminars. Ms. Levine wrote "Public Access to Private Information on Online Dockets," which was published in the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, Vol. 27, Issue No. 4, December 2005, and was co-author of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's 2005, "Tax Consequences in Divorce: Avoiding the Pitfalls." She also served on the Honorable Eugene F. Scanlon, Jr.'s (Administrative Judge of the Family Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County) ad hoc Privacy Task Force. Ms. Levine earned her B.A. degree from Ithaca College and her J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is a member of the Pennsylvania, American and Allegheny County (member, Family Law Section) bar associations.
