December 14 - Allentown ALFRED M. ABEL is principal of Alfred Abel Law Offices, with locations in Philadelphia, Plymouth Meeting, and Jenkintown. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he ran a family-owned business in Northeast Pennsylvania that was sold to investors. He has had his own law practice since 1982. He represents individuals, families and businesses throughout Philadelphia, Montgomery County and beyond in areas such as bankruptcy, business transactions, commercial and consumer debt workouts, and accident cases for injuries and property damage. Mr. Abel earned his B.A. degree from Hofstra University, his M.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts, and his J.D. degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center. He earned his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Oswego and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University Law School. Mr. Hunter has years of experience in collection law and he has practiced collections law since he was licensed to practice in 1982. Mr. Hunter is a member of the Luzerne County Law and Library Association. He is admitted to the Federal Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and is a certified mediator for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hunter is a general civil lawyer, with a concentration in collections, state tax, bankruptcy and litigation. ROGER MATTES JR. is president of the Scranton law firm of Mattes & Mattes, P.C.
