SYLVESTER A. PIPAK JR. is a partner with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP, and chair of the firm's Workers' Compensation Practice Group, with expertise in the areas of employer liability and risk management issues. Mr. Pipak focuses his practice on state worker's compensation, state occupational disease, Federal Black Lung, Longshoreman, and Harborworkers' Compensation Act claims. However, his practice concentrates on the representation of national corporations, insurance carriers and employers in workers' compensation litigation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Power has represented numerous major corporations, insurance carriers and private companies before workers' compensation judges, the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Although Mr. Power's practice is concentrated in workers' compensation, he practices civil defense litigation as well. He earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Denison University and his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. Mr. Power is an active member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Self-Insurers' Association. WALLS is a shareholder at the law office of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, where he currently manages the workers' compensation team in the firm's Pittsburgh office. Mr. Walls concentrates his practice in defending employers, carriers and third party administrators in workers' compensation litigation, and has represented a large number of clients in this area.
