MICHAEL H. DiGENOVA is a partner with Badey, Sloan & DiGenova, P.C., where he concentrates his practice in personal injury matters and civil litigation in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His experience includes motor vehicle accident, workers' compensation, medical malpractice and product liability cases in addition to general personal injury. Mr. DiGenova also represents clients of the firm in Social Security disability appeals. He is admitted to the practice of law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. DiGenova frequently lectures regarding workers' compensation for unions. Mr. DiGenova is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Drew University and his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. JOSEPH MASIUK is a partner in the law firm of Flood & Masiuk, LLC. Mr. Masiuk shares his wife's enthusiasm for, and commitment to, a practice which provides people of all ages and walks of life with thoughtful and comprehensive solutions in estate planning. Today, Mr. Masiuk is a widely noted speaker, author and seminar leader on topics ranging from estate and Medicaid planning to asset protection for traditional and GLBT couples and families. Prior to joining his wife in private practice, Mr. Masiuk practiced law in the public sector as an Assistant Regional Attorney for the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare. His practice at HEW involved Social Security as well as Medicare and Medicaid policy and litigation. From 1981 to 1985 he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Department of Justice in Philadelphia, where his counsel to the Federal Bureau of Investigation was recognized in September, 1985. Mr. Masiuk is a member of the bars of the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 3rd and 4th Circuits; and the U.S. District Courts for New Jersey and the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. Mr. Masiuk attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature. Next, he attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was awarded a Juris Doctor degree. For the past 18 years, he has been a guest lecturer of the political science department at Arcadia University. LAWRENCE J. WEINSTEIN is a partner in the Ardmore law firm of Silver & Silver. Mr. Weinstein focuses his practice in social security disability, and also concentrates in short and long term disability, veterans' benefits, and workers' compensation issues. He has previously lectured for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, Montgomery County Bar Association, and Delaware County Bar Association. He also is a frequent lecturer for various health groups for individuals with impairments, such as the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Weinstein earned his B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. degree from Villanova University Law School. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Delaware County Bar Association, and NOSSCR. Mr. Weinstein has been named a Rising Star Super Lawyer for five years and also is a campaign manager for a Pennsylvania state representative. KAREN KRESS WEISBORD is a member of Weisbord & Weisbord, P.C., where she practices in the areas of Social Security disability, labor and employment and civil rights litigation. She has been a practicing attorney for more than 35 years. Ms. Weisbords' experience includes having been a law clerk on the Philadelphia court of common pleas and on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She was a senior litigator for the Office of Solicitor, Department of Labor (awarded the Distinguished Service Award), assistant district attorney for the Philadelphia Office of District Attorney, in-house counsel to Bell of Pennsylvania (in labor and regulatory areas) and in private practice since 1981. Ms. Weisbord has lectured in the area of Social Security disability in seminars sponsored by National Business Institute. She has been the guest speaker on the cable law show of "Today's Law" in the area of Social Security disability. Ms. Weisbord earned her B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law.
