NORMAN COLE is a partner with the Portland law firm of Sather Byerly & Holloway, LLP. For more than thirty years, he has represented employers and insurers in defense of workers' compensation claims under the Oregon Compensation Act and the Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. Mr. Cole is the chair elect of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar. He has special expertise in defense of asbestos related disease and pulmonary claims, has co-written chapters in the Oregon State Bar's Workers' Compensation CLE publications, prepares a quarterly summary for case law for the Northwest Longshore Administrator's Association, and also has spoken previously for National Business Institute. Mr. Cole earned his B.A. degree from Claremont Men's College, now known as Claremont McKenna College, and his J.D. degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Oregon, the United States District Court and the Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. BRADLEY G. GARBER is an attorney with Wallace, Klor & Mann, P.C., where he focuses on workers' compensation defense, insurance defense litigation and state and federal appellate practice. He is a member of the Oregon and Washington State bar associations, the Oregon State Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section, the Oregon Self-Insured Association, the Oregon Administrative Law Section, and the Independent Medical Examination Association (IMEA). Mr. Garber is co-author of the "Accidental Injury" chapter of Oregon Workers' Compensation Handbook, and a contributing author of the Administrative Law Newsletter. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and his J.D. degree from the University of Oregon. JAMES T. GUINN is an attorney with Guinn & Dalton in Oregon City, Oregon, where he focuses his practice on representing injured workers. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1981 to 1985. Mr. Guinn is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association. He earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island and his J.D. degree from Lewis & Clark Law School. DAVID P. LEVINE is a partner with Sheridan Levine LLP, where he focuses exclusively on the defense of employers and insurers in workers' compensation, OSHA and related liability matters. He is a member of the Oregon and Washington State bar associations, as well as the U.S. District Court of Oregon and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. After law school, Mr. Levine worked as a deputy district attorney in Washington County, moving to an insurance defense practice in 1987 which he continues today. He teaches and lectures for a number of organizations, including the Oregon State Bar, Workers' Compensation Section; the Douglas County Orthopedic Association; the Workers' Compensation Claims Association; and various third party administrators and insurers on all aspects of workers' compensation practice and defense. Mr. Levine is a past counsel for the Oregon State Hockey Association. He grew up in Minnesota, earning his B.A. degree from Colorado College, his M.A. degree from the University of Colorado, and his J.D. degree and certificate in environmental and natural resources law from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. DENNIS O'MALLEY is a sole practitioner in Portland, Oregon, where he has represented injured workers in Oregon workers' compensation claims for more than 25 years. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association. Mr. O'Malley earned his B.A. degree from Reed College and his J.D. degree from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College. ROBERT J. RADLER co-founded the firm of Radler, Bohy, Replogle & Conratt, LLP in 1989. He focuses his practice on representing insured and self-insured employers in workers' compensation defense and related matters. Mr. Radler's clients cover a broad spectrum, from multi-national companies and small local employers, to the Oregon Insurance Guaranty Association. He frequently speaks on workers' compensation topics. Mr. Radler was selected by the Portland Business Journal in 2005 as one of the "Best of the Bar." He is a member of the Oregon City Attorneys Association and the Oregon State Bar, Workers' Compensation Section. Mr. Radler earned his degree from the George Washington University/National Law Center in Washington, DC.
