ERICA C. GLASER is the principal of Erica C. Glaser Arbitration and Mediation, with offices in Clackamas. A 1996 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, Ms. Glaser has spent half of her career on the defense side, and now half on the plaintiff side, of personal injury litigation. She defended cases for Farmers Insurance's in-house legal office, then known as Cavanagh and Zipse, for seven years. After gaining considerable courtroom experience on the defense side, Ms. Glaser joined Clackamas personal injury attorney, Robert G. Dolton, and took over his trial work. She has tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict. Currently, Ms. Glaser splits her practice between trial work for Rob Dolton and serving as an arbitrator and mediator for both court-annexed and UM and UIM panel arbitrations. She also serves as a mediator. JAMES E. SHADDUCK is a partner in the law firm of Stewart Shadduck Robinson, with offices in Portland and Lake Oswego. He is recognized region-wide for outstanding skill as a trial attorney. As an insurance defense attorney, from 1987 through part of 2006, Mr. Shadduck first-chaired more than 200 jury trials as lead attorney for nationally recognized insurers, defending insurance companies and their insureds with an overwhelming record of success. Since leaving the insurance side of litigation in July 2006, he has focused exclusively on plaintiff personal injury matters, with an emphasis on serious injuries, trying jury trials in complex asbestos litigation, products liability and wrongful death. He also handles sex abuse matters involving adults and minors; auto, residential and commercial injuries; professional malpractice; and civil rights claims. Mr. Shadduck earned his B.A. degree at Point Loma Nazarene University and his J.D. degree at Lewis and Clark Law School. He has been admitted to the Oregon State Bar, and Washington State and Hawaii State bar associations. Mr. Shadduck is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of Oregon and U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois. JAMES B. SHIKANY is the principle of the Clackamas Law Office of James B. Shikany. Since 2001, Mr. Shikany has focused his practice on plaintiffs’ personal injury. He earned his B.A. degree at Indiana University and his J.D. degree at Northwestern School of Law. RICHARD M. WALSH is the founder and owner of the Keizer, Oregon law firm of Walsh & Associates, where he practices in the area of litigation, with an emphasis on Oregon circuit court jury trials in various Oregon counties; arbitrations, mediations, and other alternative dispute resolution forums; workers' compensation hearings before the Workers' Compensation Board; and a full appellate practice. He serves as an arbitrator in various arbitration panels to decide cases dealing with various contested PIP, uninsured motorist, and under insured motorist claims. Mr. Walsh earned his B.S. degree from Portland State University and J.D. degree from the University of Oregon. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Federal Bar for the U.S. District Court for Oregon, the Oregon Trial Lawyer Association, the Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association (Litigation Section).
