JIM COX is a sales account executive with I.C. System, Inc., a 72 year old privately-owned collection agency. I.C. JAMES M. HILLAS is a sole practitioner with James M. Hillas, P.C., in Portland, Oregon, where his main areas of practice are general, business, commercial, complex and bankruptcy litigation, construction law and liens, employment contracts, wage and hour law and residential real estate. His litigation experience includes all manner of commercial disputes, debtor/creditor matters and issues involving insurance, environmental, fraudulent transfer, and bankruptcy laws. Mr. Smale is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association, the Litigation Section of the Oregon State Bar, the Debtor Creditor Section of the Oregon State Bar and the Construction Law Section of the Oregon State Bar. He is admitted to practice in the State Court of Oregon and for the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Mr. Smale received his B.S. degree from Portland State University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College. JAMES RAY STREINZ is a partner in the Portland law firm of McEwen Gisvold LLP, where he practices in the area of representation of creditors in bankruptcy, collections, real estate workouts and foreclosure. He has written and lectured extensively on creditor representation in foreclosure and insolvency matters, including a chapter titled "Receivers" for Civil Pleadings and Practice, Oregon State Bar, 2005. Mr. Streinz has served as an adjunct professor of law at Willamette University College of Law teaching debtor/creditor law. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar (past chair, Debtor/Creditor Section), the Washington State (member, Creditor/Debtor Section) and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Streinz received his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Linfield College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard University.
