JAMIE K. BRUEHL is a partner with the law firm of Rife Walters Bruehl & Stanley, where her practice is focused mainly on medical malpractice defense. She has previously spoken to physicians, physician assistants, dieticians and other health care providers on health care law topics such as HIPAA and medical malpractice. HART is a partner at the law firm of Richards & Connor, PLLP, in Tulsa. She focuses her practice primarily on health care law. Her practice began by defending professionals such as nurses, doctors, teachers and police officers in civil litigation. Over the course of her career, Ms. Hart has continued to represent health care professionals, but has also expanded her practice to meet the needs of entire health organizations such as clinics and hospitals. Upon the request of clients, she also has represented business and individuals in various general civil litigation. Ms. Hart graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law with a Health Law Certificate. DR. GEORGE J. HEYMACH, Ph.D., M.D., M.B.A., is president of Physicians' Health Care Consulting, Inc., where he brings strategic insights and communication skills to projects involving, medical staff issues and challenges, medication in physician-to-physician and physician-administration crises. Dr. Heymach has had extensive experience in forensics dealing with toxic tort, environmental contamination and personal injury-medical malpractice where he has worked with both defense and plaintiff attorneys. Dr. Heymach is a fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He has published in both the renal and pulmonary literature (as well as the engineering literature) and has extensive experience in end-of-life challenges/ethics and the care of the homeless. He was a pro bono medical director of a homeless-shelter for two years. Dr. Heymach received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from City College of the City University of New York, and a master's degree and a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to receive his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College and a master's degree in business administration from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. GREGG W. LUTHER is an attorney with The West Law Firm, where he practices in the area of litigation. Mr. Luther is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Western districts of Oklahoma. MARGO is a seasoned attorney with many years of dedicated service to clients and the legal profession in Oklahoma. Mr. Margo was recently appointed administrative law judge with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, the primary entity in the state charged with controlling costs of state-purchased health care. He is board certified through the National Board of Trial Advocacy (Civil), and is on the approved panel of mediators for the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He also is a dispute resolver for the American Health Lawyers Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Service and on the National Arbitration Forum. In addition, Mr. Margo is a fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers (former director, 1992 - 1995, Oklahoma County), a member of the Oklahoma and American bar associations, a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, former president (1994) of the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, former vice president (1983 - 1984) of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, a member of the American Inn of Court CV (Master Emeritus), former chairman (2008 - 2009) of the Oklahoma Judicial Nominating Commission, and a member of the Defense Research Institute. He earned his B.A. degree from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. degree from Oklahoma City University. BRENT L. NEIGHBORS is a partner with the Oklahoma City law firm of Horton & Neighbors, P.C., where he focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice law and truck accidents.
