WAYNE ALLISON is a partner and shareholder of Meyer, Leonard & Allison, PLLC. His areas of practice are healthcare advocacy, compliance, litigation, corporate startup, equity/capital formation, corporate governance, employer/employee rights, sexual harassment, software and technology, product liability, family law, sports law, qui tam, immigration and naturalization, and personal injury law. Mr. Allison was the author of The Internet Business Primer, Sourcebooks, 1995. He earned his undergraduate degree, his master's degree and his juris doctorate, summa cum laude, from Oklahoma City University School of Law. LEWIS A. BERKOWITZ is an attorney with Berkowitz Law Firm, Inc. and maintains an office in Oklahoma City. Mr. Berkowitz's main areas of practice are workers' compensation, bankruptcy and estate planning. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Oklahoma. Mr. Berkowitz is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and a member of the Fee Grievance Committee of the Oklahoma County Bar Association. He earned his undergraduate degree from State University College of New York at New Paltz, New York and his J. D. degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law. R. SCOTT THOMPSON is a partner in the firm Lester, Loving & Davies, P.C., where his main areas of practice include legislation, constitutional law, employment law, civil rights law, administrative law, contract law, banking and commercial law, appellate practice and insurance regulation. Mr. Thompson co-authored a 1996 report commissioned by the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee entitled, The War Powers Resolution: Origins, History, Criticism and Reform . He also is a member of the Robert J. Turner American Inn of Court. In February 2004, Governor Brad Henry appointed Mr. Thompson to the Long Range Capital Planning Commission, a commission which prepares the Capital Improvement Plan for addressing the capital facility needs of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and all state agencies. He is currently serving his second term as chairman of the LRCPC, after previously serving two terms as vice-chairman. Mr. Thompson is a graduate of Leadership Edmond and served as a member of the Leadership Edmond Alumni Board and is currently chairman of the Leadership Edmond Alumni Council. He is also active in the Edmond Economic Development Partners and the Edmond Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as a member and co-chair of the Governmental Relations Council, a position that allowed him to advocate business issues to state and federal legislators. Mr. Thompson has also served as vice-chairman of both the Oklahoma State Bar Association's Legislative Monitoring Committee and Diversity Committee and still serves as a member of both committees. He has also been an adjunct professor of political science at the Oklahoma City campus of Oklahoma State University, teaching american government and has served on several occasions as a guest lecturer on employment law for business law courses at the University of Central Oklahoma. Mr. Thompson has spoken on banking issues to the Oklahoma Bankers Association, the Oklahoma State Banking Department and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs. He has also written and spoken on trademark issues relating to small businesses. Mr. Thompson is admitted to practice in both Maryland and Oklahoma. He earned his B.A. degree from Oklahoma State University and his J.D. degree from the George Washington University Law School, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi, the International Law Society and was selected by the Dean of the law school for the prestigious Jacob Burns Scholarship.
