JEREMIAH L. BUETTNER is a trial lawyer with McAfee & Taft, A Professional Corporation, whose areas of practice include environmental law, environmental compliance and corporate transactions, and environmental litigation. He is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. Mr. Buettner earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Kansas, and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Oklahoma, where he was Articles Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review, as well as a Comfort Scholar. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association. ROBERT N. SHEETS is a partner with the Oklahoma City law firm of Phillips Murrah P.C. His primary areas of practice are commercial litigation, environmental law, oil and gas law and real estate law. Mr. Sheets was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar, and is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma courts, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. He earned his A.B. degree from Washington University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Oklahoma City University. Mr. Sheets was a law clerk for the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He has been an adjunct professor of law at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, teaching federal jurisdiction. Mr. Sheets is a frequent continuing legal education lecturer in matters of real estate and oil and gas. He is a member of the American, Oklahoma and Oklahoma County (Law-Related Education Panel) bar associations, and the Oklahoma City Society of Title Attorneys. Mr. Sheets is a director of the Oklahoma County Bar Association and chairman of the Voices for Children Committee. He has been a judge for the We the People competition of the Oklahoma State Bar Association for more than ten years. Mr. Sheets is past chairman of the Law-Related Education Committee of the Oklahoma County Bar Association and is a frequent speaker at area schools for that committee. RUSSELL A. WANTLAND is a partner with the law firm of Palmer Wantland, where he has experience advising a number of seed and early stage business ventures in a number of different industries. He primarily works alongside businesses providing oversight and advisement on strategic planning, asset management, development, forecasting and litigation matters. Mr. Wantland also advises clients in all areas of real estate development, management and revitalization. He earned his B.B.A., M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Wantland serves on the Central Edmond Urban Development Board, and is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Urban Land Institute and the Oklahoma Venture Forum. He recently served as a steering committee member for development of the City of Edmond's 50-year water supply plan. Mr. Wantland was named a Rising Star in 2009 by Oklahoma Super Lawyers.
