DAVID A. FREEBURG is a partner in the Cleveland law firm of McFadden and Freeburg Co., L.P.A., where he practices in the areas of real estate law, real estate litigation and foreclosure. Mr. Freeburg is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in the area of Residential Real Property. He is a member of the Ohio Land Title Association and the Ohio State, Pennsylvania, American and Cleveland Metropolitan bar associations. Mr. Freeburg earned his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. JENNIFER M. MONTY RIEKER works in the Litigation & Defense Department in the Cleveland office of Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. Ms. Rieker earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, in communications, from DePauw University and her J.D. degree from The Ohio State University, Michael E. Moritz College of Law. A member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan bar associations, Ms. Rieker is licensed in Ohio and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern District of Ohio). She has also represented clients in other state and federal courts. She has successfully handled cases involving claims of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA violations. In both 2009 and 2010, she was recognized as an Ohio Rising Star by Law & Politics Magazine and Cincinnati Magazine. Ms. Rieker has been published in the Employee Relations Law Journal; Servicing Management News; MortgageOrb; and the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers publication, Transactions. She is frequent lecturer on mortgage compliance and litigation issues. DEAN S. TALAGANIS is a partner with the law firm of Morris|Hardwick|Schneider and the district president for LandCastle Title, LLC, in the firm's Ohio closing operations. His responsibilities include managing the foreclosure and REO title and closing offices, underwriting, title examination, and the processing of residential and commercial loans and closings. He regularly markets the firm's legal and title services on a local and nationwide basis. He is also a periodic speaker on matters related to title insurance and closing issues, foreclosures, and ethics. Mr. Talaganis was the vice president of business development & client relations for a large title agency prior to joining Morris|Hardwick|Schneider, overseeing the states of Ohio and Michigan. Mr. Talaganis received a B.S.B.A. degree, in industrial marketing, from Youngstown State University in 1986 and his J.D. degree from the Capital University Law School in 1989. A member of the Ohio State Bar and Ohio Land Title associationsq, Mr. Talaganis is a licensed attorney in Ohio, admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio) and the United States Claims Court. He is also a licensed title insurance agent in Ohio and Michigan. Mr. Talaganis is the former president, second vice-president and current director-at-large of the Northern Ohio Credit Association, a member of the REOMAC, and has served on REOMAC's Education Committee in 2009 and 2010. Mr. Talaganis has had articles published by the Ohio Land Title Association, National Foreclosure Professional News Magazine, REOMAC Monthly Newsletter, Servicing Management Magazine, and DS News.
