JEFFREY J. FANGER is managing member of the law offices of Fanger & Associates, LLC, with offices in Cleveland and Highland Heights. His practice includes civil litigation, both trial and appellate, corporate and non-profit formation and representation, contract drafting and litigation, employment and general business representation, intellectual property, business re-organization, acquisition and restructuring, wills and estates, debtor/creditor and guardianship. Mr. Fanger also serves as outside counsel to the Ohio Attorney General for collections enforcement. Through the Ohio State Bar Association and Geauga Bar Association, he has investigated and prosecuted cases of the unauthorized practice of law. Mr. Fanger is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, a Trustee on the Geauga County Bar Foundation and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (the Corporate, Entertainment and Sports and Computer & Technology law committees and the Corporate Law Liaison to the Secretary of State), he has served on the Ohio Supreme Court Central UPL Registry Workgroup, the Geauga County Bar Association (Unauthorized Practice of Law, Constitution, Grievance and the Ipso Jure committees) and the International Bar Association (Multi-disciplinary Practices Committee, Corporate Law and the Real Estate sections). He earned his B.A. degree from George Washington University and his J.D. degree from Ohio State University College of Law. STEPHEN H. JETT is a partner in the Cleveland office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, where the emphasis of his practice is commercial litigation. Mr. Jett often handles adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court. He also has extensive litigation experience in intellectual property, franchise law, employment law, commercial contracts, business torts, trade secrets, real estate tax, landlord/tenants, antitrust, ERISA litigation, and creditor's rights. He has lectured at Kent State University, where he addresses topics including strategies and potential pitfalls of starting a new business and how to avoid litigation. Mr. Jett serves on the Board of Directors of The Gathering Place, a non-profit cancer support organization in Greater Cleveland. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Federal Bar Association, Northern District of Ohio Chapter, where he is chair of the Newsletter Committee, which is responsible for the award-winning Inter Alia publication. Mr. Jett earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Kentucky.
JOHN "JACK" P. KILROY is a sole practitioner in Lorain. Mr. Kilroy has been an attorney for 32 years and provides advice to nonprofit corporations in regard to government regulation and organizational issues. He also works for the Lorain County Auditor where he handles matters related to real estate and tax exemption. He has lectured for the Lorain County Bar Association on real estate issues and has provided training for various non-profit boards. Mr. Kilroy was previously the executive director of the Grassroots Leadership Development Program which provides technical assistance to community based organizations in Lorain County, including assistance on the 501(c) (3) incorporation process. He earned his B.A. degree from Ohio University and his J.D. degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. JAMES S. SIMON is a partner in the Akron office of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP. Mr. Simon represents individuals, businesses, tax-exempt organizations and government clients in real estate and business acquisitions, leasing transactions, public and low-income housing finance transactions, multiparty negotiations, and zoning and compliance matters. He was recognized as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers Rising Stars™, in the 2010 and 2011 Cincinnati Magazine. Mr. Simon is a member of the Ohio State and Akron bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree from Bennington College and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from The University of Akron School of Law.
