PAUL A. DePASCALE is vice president and commercial counsel for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Mr. DePascale has 17 years of experience in the title insurance and escrow industries, extensively in the transactional and underwriting arenas, primarily of major commercial, industrial, multi-site, and multi-state transactions. He also has experience in claims administration, and has functioned as branch manager and general counsel. Mr. DePascale currently acts as branch manager and underwriting counsel and advises the company on legal and business affairs. He has lectured at many continuing education seminars on topics including closings, title insurance and underwriting, and I.R.C. §1031 exchanges. In addition, Mr. DePascale has spoken for boards of realtors and local realty companies on title and real estate matters. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (Real Property Section); a current board member of the Central Ohio Chapter of NAIOP; a past president and current board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel-Central Ohio Chapter; and serves as an advisory board member for the Paralegal Program at Capital University Law School. Mr. DePascale also is a member of the Real Property Section of the Columbus Bar Association, the Central Ohio Land Title Association, the Ohio Land Title Association (Legislation Committee), NAIOP, CCIIR and the Urban Land Institute. He earned his B.S. degree from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences, and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. J. JEFFREY McNEALEY is a partner in the Columbus law firm of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP, where his practice has focused on environmental matters, as well as general corporate and related real estate development issues. He has worked with developers, townships, and municipalities in the design, adoption, and implementation of a wide range of zoning codes for residential, commercial, and industrial developments for more than 30 years. Mr. McNealey has been acknowledged as one of the outstanding environmental lawyers in the country since 1986 by The Best Lawyers in America. He also is listed in Ohio Super Lawyer's since 2003 and Chambers USA since 2003 (recognized in both the field of environmental law and real estate development law). Mr. McNealey has served as lead counsel in many nationally and regionally significant air, water, and Superfund cases. He has worked on various wetland issues, water and air pollution impact assessments, "Brownfield" redevelopments, and infrastructure related matters. Mr. McNealey also has counseled on constitutional takings issues in an effort to harmonize public goals with private developmental constraints. He earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University and his J.D. degree from Ohio State University. Mr. McNealey is a member of the American, Ohio State (founding chairman of Environmental Committee) and Columbus bar associations (member of the associations' Environmental Committees). For many years he has lectured, focusing on environmental and regional development issues, in many forums for bar associations, private clients, and CLE seminar sponsors. Mr. McNealey also has lectured in the Ukraine on environmental matters for US AID. He is a member of the Central Ohio Urban Land Institute District Council (program chair), and serves as a commissioner of the Columbus/Franklin County Metro Parks Commission, as well as commissioner of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Commission. RAY R. MICHALSKI is a sole practitioner in Lancaster. He has been an attorney for more than 35 years and practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate including zoning, annexation, litigation, and transactional work. Mr. Michalski is a past president of the Ohio State Bar Association and has lectured to the Ohio State Bar Association on real estate issues. He also is a past president of the Hocking County Bar Association, a member of the Fairfield County Bar Association and a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation. Mr. Michalski earned his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and his J.D. degree from Ohio Northern University - Claude W. Pettit College of Law.
