WILLIAM L. LOVELAND is a member in the Columbus law firm of Loveland & Brosius, L.L.C., where he practices in the areas of real estate and civil litigation. Mr. Loveland has lectured for National Business Institute on several different real estate law subjects, including zoning, planning and litigation, and on multiple aspects, common interest, community structure, operations and litigation. He also has taught seminars on zoning, planning, real estate transactions, common interest community, and litigation issues to attorneys and members of various bar associations. Mr. Loveland earned his B.A. degree from Denison University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from The Ohio State University. He is the former chairman of the Litigation Practice Institute, the former president of the Joseph Fletcher Lawyers Ethics Conference and a current member of the Admissions Committee of the Columbus Bar Association. Mr. Loveland is a member of the Columbus, Ohio State and American bar associations, and The American Association for Justice. J. JEFFREY McNEALEY is a partner in the Columbus law firm of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP, where his practice has focused on environmental matters, as well as general corporate and related real estate development issues. He has worked with developers, townships, and municipalities in the design, adoption, and implementation of a wide range of zoning codes for residential, commercial, and industrial developments for more than 35 years. Mr. McNealey has been acknowledged as one of the outstanding environmental and real estate zoning lawyers in the country since 1986 by The Best Lawyers in America. He also is listed in Ohio Super Lawyers since 2003 and Chambers USA since 2003 (recognized in both the field of environmental law and real estate development law.) Mr. McNealey has served as lead counsel in many nationally and regionally significant air, water, and Superfund cases. He has worked on various wetland issues, water and air pollution impact assessments, "Brownfield" redevelopments, and infrastructure related matters. Mr. McNealey also has counseled on constitutional takings issues in an effort to harmonize public goals with private developmental constraints. He earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University and his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University. Mr. McNealey is a member of the American, Ohio State (founding chairman of Environmental Committee) and Columbus bar associations (member of the associations' Environmental Committees). For many years, he has lectured focusing on environmental and regional development issues, in many forums for bar associations, private clients, The Ohio State University, and CLE seminar sponsors. Mr. McNealey also has lectured in the Ukraine on environmental matters for US AID and in Germany on city planning issues. ANTHONY E. PALMER JR. is an assistant prosecuting attorney in the civil division of the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Palmer practices in land use and zoning law, election law, contract law, construction litigation, and general litigation. Mr. Palmer represents and advises county and township zoning enforcement officers and agencies. He also defends the Franklin County Board of Zoning Appeals in state and federal courts. Mr. Palmer earned his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association.
