TODD G. FINNERAN is the principal of the Columbus law firm of Todd G. Finneran Co., LPA. Mr. Finneran has been an attorney for more than 30 years and practices in the areas of debtor/creditor law, consumer bankruptcy and small business bankruptcy. He is a former Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee (1980-1996) and has lectured to attorneys and other professionals on bankruptcy and real estate matters. Mr. Finneran is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Bankruptcy Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Ohio University and his J.D. degree from Capital University. CHARLES R. JANES, is an attorney in the Columbus office of Manley Deas Kochalski, LLC. Mr. Janes represents major banks, mortgage servicers, and other financial institutions in all phases of contested real estate litigation and foreclosure actions, as well as litigation regarding title insurance disputes. Before joining the firm, he acquired more than 30 years of extensive trial and appellate court experience as lead trial counsel in a variety of litigation matters. He also has extensive experience in representing insurance companies, as well as insureds, in numerous, contested insurance coverage lawsuits, and has handled a variety of commercial litigation. Mr. Janes has had many speaking engagements over the years and has made numerous demonstrations on trial techniques and strategies at seminars throughout Ohio. Most recently, he was mentioned as one of the "Top Lawyers in Central Ohio" in the April 2009 issue of Columbus CEO magazine. Mr. Janes earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from The Ohio State University and his J.D. degree from Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. EDWARD M. KOCHALSKI is a partner in the law firm Manley Deas Kochalski, LLC. Mr. Kochalski has 30 years of experience in the areas of complex real estate litigation and foreclosure matters, as well as counseling financial institutions, mortgage companies, and land developers on a variety of title-related issues. He is a licensed title agent representing First American, Land America, Fidelity, and Old Republic title companies. Mr. Kochalski has spoken at various seminars and judicial conferences related to title, real estate and foreclosure matters. Earlier in his career, he served as in-house counsel for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation. Mr. Kochalski is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, and the American, Ohio State and Columbus bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo. KELLY A. LONG is an attorney in the Columbus office of Manley Deas Kochalski, LLC. Ms. Long's experience is as a transaction lawyer primarily in the areas of residential real estate, particularly in title insurance matters and title claims related to foreclosure actions. Her primary responsibilities include operating and managing all title related matters. During her career, Ms. Long has been underwriting counsel for a multi-state title agency; unit manager for a large global credit risk management company, receiving the company's award for achievement; and operations manager for another title agency. She is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus bar associations. Ms. Long earned her B.A. degree from Wright State University and her J.D. degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. KEVIN L. WILLIAMS is an attorney in the Columbus office of Manley Deas Kochalski, LLC. Mr. Williams'15 years of experience in professional ethics law and real estate litigation includes representing major financial institutions, investors, and servicing entities. During his career, he has served as law clerk to the Honorable Sandra S. Beckwith, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Ohio, and to the Honorable Thomas J. Moyer, Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court. Mr. Williams is a former assistant disciplinary counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court and has extensive litigation experience both at the trial level and in oral argument before the Ohio Supreme Court. He was the only attorney in Ohio asked by both the Northern District and Southern District Courts of Ohio to consult on the establishment of foreclosure rules. He was appointed by the Southern District Court of Ohio to the Committee on Foreclosure Procedure. Mr. Williams serves as a member of the Board on the Unauthorized Practice of Law of the Ohio Supreme Court. He has spoken extensively in professional seminars and before public and private organizations on the subjects of professional ethics law and the unauthorized practice of law. He is a member of the Federal, Ohio State and Columbus bar associations. Mr. Williams earned his A.B. degree, magna cum laude, from Kenyon College and his J.D. degree, with honors in law, from The Ohio State University College of Law.
