BRANDON A. BORGMANN is an attorney in the Columbus law firm of Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP. Mr. Borgmann focuses his practice on estate administration and related tax issues, estate planning, business succession planning, tax exempt entities, and elder law. He is an adjunct professor and Corporate Moot Court team coach at Capital University Law School. Mr. Borgmann is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association (Probate Court Committee, Estate & Gift Tax Committee and Elder Law Committee). He earned his B.S. degree from The Ohio State University and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. JAMES B. CURTIN is an attorney in the Columbus law firm of Hrabcak & Company LPA. He has practiced in the areas of estate planning, probate, tax, income tax and elder law for more than 20 years. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Curtin practiced for 10 years as a certified public accountant (inactive). He wrote an article for the Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance and is a contributing writer for the 2004 Desk Manual on Elder Law. Mr. Curtin is a frequent lecturer on asset protection, probate law, estate planning and taxation for professional groups. He has also lectured for the Ohio Society of CPAs on financial planning and the New York State Society of CPAs on taxation and governmental accounting. Mr. Curtin is a member of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust section of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Ohio State Society of CPAs. He earned his B.S. degree from Miami University and his J.D. degree from Capital University. JACQUELINE FERRIS MacLAREN is an attorney with the Nardone Law Group, LLC, in Columbus. Ms. MacLaren has been an attorney for more than six years and focuses her practice on business transactions, estate and business planning, estate and trust administration and probate law. She is a member of the Columbus and Ohio State bar associations. Ms. MacLaren earned her B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and her J.D. degree from Capital University Law School.
