MATTHEW F. KADISH is an attorney and shareholder in the Cleveland law firm of Kadish, Hinkel & Weibel. His practice covers a wide range of tax-related areas, including choice of entities, estate planning and business succession, exempt organizations, and representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Tax Court. He has spoken nationally on various tax-related topics, has testified at the invitation of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on tax relief for small businesses, and serves as the Co-Vice President of Legislation for the Small Business Council of America. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America (Tax and Trusts & Estates) and as an Ohio Super Lawyer. He formerly served as an attorney-advisor to Judge Herbert L. Chabot of the U.S. Tax Court, and received his LL.M. degree in taxation from New York University School of Law, his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and his B.A. degree from Williams College. Prior to practice in Cleveland, he practiced in Honolulu, Hawaii, and in Washington, D.C. LISA MONTONI GARVIN is an attorney in the Cleveland office of Hickman & Lowder Co. L.P.A. Ms. Montoni Garvin focuses her practice on advising individuals and families in the areas of guardianships, elder law, estate and special needs planning, and estate and trust administration. She has written articles and spoken on the topics of Ohio's Medicaid Estate Recovery program, guardianship and surrogate decision-making, the legal aspects of aging, and special needs planning. Ms. Montoni Garvin is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the American, Cleveland Metropolitan, Lake County, and Ohio bar associations. She earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from John Carroll University and her J.D. degree from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. MICHAEL P. MORLEY is an attorney in the Akron law firm of Brennan, Manna & Diamond, LLC, where he practices in the areas of estate planning and estate administration. He has lectured to the Ohio State Bar Association and various local professional groups on estate planning issues. Mr. Morley earned his B.S.Ed. degree, cum laude, from Miami University, his J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati and his LL.M. degree from Capital University. He is a member of the Akron and Ohio State (Probate, Trust and Estate Planning Section) bar associations and is the past president of the North Central Ohio Estate Planning Council. Mr. Morley also is a member of the Tax and Estate Planning Council of Akron.
