TODD A. ERNSBERGER is an associate with Onda, LaBuhn, Rankin & Boggs Co., LPA. He focuses his practice in the areas of business, taxation, real estate, and tax deferred exchanges. He has been an adjunct professor at the Law School since 2007, teaching taxation of business entities, taxation of real estate, advanced tax problems and limited liability companies. In addition to teaching at the Law School, Mr. Ernsberger has been a frequent speaker and author including: "Intermediate Like-Kind Exchanges," Ohio State Bar Association; "1031 Real Estate Exchanges," Ohio State Bar Association, May, 2006; "1031 Real Estate Exchanges," Ohio State Bar Association, March, 2007; "Entity Selection: Beyond the Basic," National Business Institute, December, 2009; "LLC or Inc.? Entity Selection for a Small to Medium Sized Business," National Business Institute, July, 2010; and "Valuing Real Estate, Valuing Loss of Access and Relocation," Ohio State Bar Association, May, 2011. He has also been a guest lecturer at The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business from 2005-2011. He currently serves as the president of the Capital University Law Alumni Association Board and is an ex-officio member of the Capital University Law School Board of Counselors. Mr. Ernsberger was selected as the 2010 Graduate of the Last Decade Award recipient by the Capital University Law Alumni Association.Mr. Ernsberger earned his J.D. degree in 2003 and his L.L.M. degree, in business and taxation, in 2004, both from Capital University Law School. JAMEEL S. TURNER is an attorney in the Columbus office of Bailey Cavalieri LLC. Mr. Turner focuses his practice on corporate and business law. He is a member of the Ohio State, Columbus and American bar associations. Mr. Turner earned his B.A. degree from the University of Toledo and his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. JOHN M. VIDMAR is a member of the Columbus law firm of Vidmar & Hardesty, Ltd. Mr. Vidmar focuses his practice on business law, collections, bankruptcy and real estate law. He is an adjunct professor with the University of Phoenix, where he teaches courses on critical thinking and business law. Mr. Vidmar is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the State Bar of Arizona. He earned his B.S. degree from Franklin University and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. BENJAMIN S. ZACKS is the founding member of the Columbus firm of Zacks Law Group LLC, where his practice includes representation of businesses and individuals in connection with business formation, restructuring, wealth planning and funding, asset preservation, estate planning and probate, entrepreneurial law, health care practice group law, intellectual property, computers, energy and technology, debt restructuring, taxation, accounting, auditing, asset recovery matters, and international transactions. He has particular real estate experience in acquisitions and dispositions, commercial and residential lease transactions, permanent and construction financing (on behalf of both lenders and borrowers), office and condominium development, syndications, joint ventures, construction and architect contracts, developer representation, title insurance, zoning and land use development, planning services and litigation services at the trial and appellate levels (state and federal), and in arbitration. Mr. Zacks is a graduate of the Harvard Negotiation Project and has lectured to various professional groups on entity selection, professional ethics, taxation, property rights, buying and selling real estate, title insurance, zoning, and land use issues. He earned his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University in American Jurisprudence and his J.D. degree from Capital University. Mr. Zacks is a member of the Columbus, Ohio State and American bar associations and the State Bar of Arizona.
