DONALD R. CASTER is an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Appellate Division of the Butler County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Caster's practice is focused on appellate work. He was previously an attorney in private practice focusing on the areas of civil rights and criminal defense. Mr. Caster is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Youngstown State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati. ALPHONSE A. GERHARDSTEIN is a partner in the Cincinnati law firm of Gerhardstein & Branch Co., LPA. Mr. Gerhardstein has been an attorney for more than 34 years and focuses his practice on civil rights, including age, race, sex, sexual orientation and disability discrimination in housing and employment, prisoner rights, police misconduct and reproductive health issues. He is a former adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky University. Mr. Gerhardstein is a frequent lecturer to professional and general audiences on civil rights topics, including appearances on CBS, NBC, and NPR news programs. He is the founder of the Ohio Justice and Policy Center and a board member of the Ohio Association for Justice. He is also a member of the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Ohio State and Cincinnati bar associations. Mr. Gerhardstein earned his B.A. degree from Beloit College and his J.D. degree from New York University. JOHN C. MUSTO is an assistant city attorney with the City of Dayton Law Department. He received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law,cum laude. Mr. Musto is admitted to practice in Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice focuses on police liability, torts and contract litigation. WILSON G. WEISENFELDER JR. is a partner in the Cincinnati law firm of Rendigs, Fry, Kiely & Dennis, L.L.P. Mr. Weisenfelder has been an attorney for over 25 years and his practice focuses on defending civil rights cases and personal injury actions. He has devoted much of his legal career to working with public sector officials such as sheriffs, police officers and administrators. Mr. Weisenfelder is a member of the Cincinnati, Ohio State, Warren County and Federal bar associations. He is admitted to practice in Ohio, and before the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Weisenfelder earned his B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree from the Salmon P. Chase Law School.
