CHRIS COOPER is a certified financial planner, enrolled agent and owner and president of Chris Cooper & Company, with offices in Toledo, Ohio and San Diego, California. He provides counseling and guidance in the areas of investments, taxation and estate preservation. Mr. Cooper also is the owner and founder of ElderCare Advocates, Inc., a private geriatric care management, private fiduciary and long-term consulting firm. He has been quoted in print in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Times, Kiplinger's Personal Finance and many other publications. Mr. Cooper earned his B.S.N. degree from Wright State University and his M.S. degree from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He has completed the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations and received a graduate certificate in gerontology at Bowling Green State University. Mr. Cooper is past president of the Ohio Council of the Alzheimer's Association, past president of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and past president of the Luther Home Of Mercy in Williston, Ohio. GARY L. MILLER is a member in the Estate Planning, Trusts, and Probate Group of Eastman & Smith, Ltd., practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, tax, and qualified retirement plans. Mr. Miller graduated, cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1998. He previously had 21 years of experience as a financial planner, most recently as Estate and Business Planning Specialist and Pension Specialist for Seymour and Associates. He received the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College, and he is accredited by the Veterans Administration. Mr. Miller is a member of the Toledo Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Toledo Estate Planning Council (past president), and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
