SUE ALTMEYER is an electronic services law librarian at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Library. She is responsible for providing reference and maintaining the library website, blog and faculty course pages. Ms. Altmeyer also teaches legal research classes at the law library and has previously taught other CLE courses. She earned her B.S. degree from The Ohio State University, her J.D. degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and her M.L.S, from Kent State University. Ms. Altmeyer is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the American Association of Law Librarians, and the Ohio and Regional Association of Law Librarians. She also is an active, practicing attorney. Ms. Altmeyer has a great deal of experience both in practicing law and acting as a law librarian. (Cleveland and Akron locations) JEFFREY A. CROSSMAN is a sole practitioner in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Crossman has been an attorney for more than nine years and practices in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate and business law. He provides legal services to a broad range of clients from established companies to startup companies, and consumers in need of sound legal counsel. Before starting his own practice, Mr. Crossman was corporate counsel for a large, publicly traded company, and also served as an associate attorney for a well respected regional law firm based out of Cleveland. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and also is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. (Akron location) ELIZABETH A. DAVIS is an attorney in the Cleveland office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP and a member of the firm's litigation group. Ms. Davis previously served as law clerk to the Honorable Deborah L. Cook, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and she has also served as an adjunct instructor of legal writing at The University of Akron School of Law. She earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Ohio Wesleyan University and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law. (Cleveland location) MELISSA A. JONES is an attorney with the Cleveland law firm of Frantz Ward LLP, where her practice focuses on creditors' rights and collections law. Ms. Jones has extensive experience in all phases of commercial debt collection and judgment execution, including drafting credit agreements, perfecting and enforcing security interests and lien rights, negotiating effective payment plans, litigating debt, obtaining judgments, filing and foreclosing judgment liens and locating, seizing and garnishing assets. She also represents manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, contractors and owners in construction collection disputes, including mechanic's lien claims, public work attested account claims and performance and payment bond claims. Ms. Jones routinely advises clients on all aspects of lien protection, preservation and enforcement procedures, and is experienced in prosecuting and defending lien foreclosure proceedings. She is a member of the Ohio State, Cleveland Metropolitan, Akron and American bar associations. MAXWELL is a director of the firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., L.P.A. Mr. Maxwell concentrates his practice in the areas of general civil litigation, insurance defense, appellate practice, creditor's rights, business law and real estate law. MOSER is a partner in the Cleveland office of Baker & Hostetler LLP. Ms. Moser has broad experience litigating intellectual property and related issues in state and federal courts. Her clients range from large, industrial multinational corporations to artists in the music and film industries. Ms. Moser earned her B.S. degree, with highest honors, from Ohio University Honors Tutorial College, her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law, and her LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
