TERRY M. BILLUPS is an attorney in the Cleveland office of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. Mr. Billups focuses his practice on general labor and employment matters, including public and private sector employment litigation at the state, federal and administrative levels. He has represented private and public sector employers in a variety of employment matters, including defense of employment discrimination claims brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and other state and federal claims arising from employment decisions. CARIÑO is an attorney in the Akron office of Brouse McDowell, LPA. Mr. Cariño focuses his practice in the area of labor and employment law, as well as litigation. CLARY is of counsel to the law firm of McDonald Hopkins LLC, where she helps employers resolve disputes with employees through negotiation, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Throughout her practice, she has defended clients against employee allegations of employment discrimination, sexual and other harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, defamation, invasion of privacy, and improper compensation, among others. Her experience includes complex class and collective litigation, as well as single-employee cases, and encompasses the retail, education, manufacturing, health care, technology, and service industries. A significant focus of Ms. Clary's practice has been class and collective actions based on alleged off-the-clock work and other claimed wage-and-hour violations under state and federal statutory wage law and state common law theories of recovery, such as unjust enrichment, breach of contract, and conversion. She has also worked extensively with employers facing claims under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and related state statutes. GLESIUS is a sole practitioner in Cleveland, where she represents employees in an array of employment-related actions. Ms. Glesius was one of the first 50 lawyers in Ohio certified as a specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. Her broad experience includes bench and jury trials on behalf of individual employees in state and federal court. In addition to her jury trial experience, she has argued numerous cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and administrative bodies. Ms. Glesius also has experience in class action litigation. GRAY is an attorney in the Cleveland office of McDonald Hopkins LLC, where she provides consultation and defends employers in litigation relative to a variety of employment matters arising under the Ohio Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act. She focuses her employment litigation practice in the areas of harassment, discrimination, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, and retaliation among others. She has experience in the area of wage and hour matters, assisting employers in auditing practices and defending and resolving litigation stemming from the Fair Labor Standards Act and state law requirements. GREEN is a shareholder in the Akron law firm of Kastner Westman & Wilkins, LLC, where he represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. Mr. Green has litigated employment discrimination, employee benefits, employment contract, non-compete, FMLA, and other employment-related claims in federal and state trial courts, and in the Ohio Court of Appeals and other state and federal appellate courts. In addition, he has represented employers in labor arbitrations and negotiations, and before various federal and state administrative agencies, including the EEOC, OCRC, NLRB, SERB, SPBR and the Industrial Commission of Ohio. Mr. Green spends much of his time providing day-to-day counseling to employers in such areas as wage/hour law, discipline and discharge, and labor agreement and employment policy administration.
