THOMAS R. ALLEN is a partner in the Columbus law firm of Allen Kuehnle Stovall & Neumann LLP, where his practice focuses on both debtor and creditor aspects of Chapter 11 reorganizations, workouts, and fiduciary representation. Mr. Allen has lectured for the Ohio State Bar Association and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisory on bankruptcy issues. AMELIA A. BOWER is the managing partner of the Columbus office of Plunkett Cooney, P.C., and for more than 20 years she has practiced in the areas of civil litigation in real estate, bankruptcy (one witness adversary proceedings), construction, condominium, title insurance defense, title insurance underwriting, and general corporate and real estate transaction work. She lectures frequently to various professional groups and for National Business Institute on real estate and real estate title issues. Ms. Bower is a member of the Ohio State (member, committees on Legal Ethics and Professionalism) and Columbus (member, Real Property Section) bar associations. She earned her B.A. degree from Miami University and her J.D. degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. KERRY T. BOYLE is a partner with the Columbus law firm of Wiles, Boyle, Burkholder & Bringardner Co. LPA. Mr. Boyle counsels his clients in all aspects of real estate, including financing, sale and acquisition, commercial and retail leasing, and litigation. As well as serving his real estate clients, he provides expertise to Wiles, Boyle, Burkholder & Bringardner Co. LPA's construction clients relating to contract and litigation matters. Mr. Boyle also provides legal advice relating to business transactions including asset sale/purchase, non-compete agreements and the formation of business entities. COX is a member in the Columbus law firm of Bailey Cavalieri LLC, where she practices in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial banking and finance, commercial law and transactions, workout and transaction restructure, creditor and debtor rights and corporate reorganization. Ms. Cox is a frequent lecturer on creditor and debtor rights and she has presented at numerous seminars for the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and various other organizations and businesses. Ms. Cox is a member of the Columbus (member, Bankruptcy Committee) and Ohio State bar associations. She earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Ohio State University and her J.D. degree from Capital University Law School, where she was Order of the Curia. PAUL A. DePASCALE is vice president and commercial counsel for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Mr. DePascale has 17 years of experience in the title insurance and escrow industries, extensively in the transactional and underwriting arenas, primarily of major commercial, industrial, multi-site and multi-state transactions. He also has experience in claims administration, and has functioned as branch manager and general counsel. Mr. DePascale currently acts as branch manager and underwriting counsel, and advises the company on legal and business affairs. He has lectured at many continuing education seminars on topics including closings, title insurance and underwriting, and I.R.C. §1031 exchanges. In addition, Mr. DePascale has spoken for boards of realtors and local realty companies on title and real estate matters. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (Real Property Section), a current board member of the Central Ohio Chapter of NAIOP, a past president and current board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel-Central Ohio Chapter, and serves as an advisory board member for the Paralegal Program at Capital University Law School. Mr. DePascale also is a member of the Columbus Bar Association (Real Property Section), the Central Ohio Land Title Association, the Ohio Land Title Association (Legislation Committee), NAIOP, CCIIR and the Urban Land Institute. He earned his B.S. degree from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. TIMOTHY J. McGRATH is a principal with the law firm of Strip, Hoppers, Leithart, McGrath & Terlecky Co., LPA. Mr. McGrath is an OSBA Certified Specialist in the practice of business, commercial and industrial real property law, and has been honored as an Ohio Super Lawyer from 2008 to 2011 in his practice area of real estate law. His area of practice emphasizes all phases of real estate, and includes probate, estate planning and business law. Mr. McGrath is one of a few Ohio attorneys experienced with representing appraisers before the Ohio Real Estate Appraiser Board. He is a member of the Columbus and Ohio State bar associations, and has held several chairman positions with the Columbus Bar Association. Mr. McGrath is a member of the Ohio Real Property Law Specialty Board and served for seven years as a member of the Franklin County Board of Zoning Appeals. He served for more than 15 years as adjunct professor teaching Real Estate Investment and Business Law at Capital University, Graduate School of Administration. Mr. McGrath also has instructed real estate courses at Franklin University and is a seminar presenter on real estate topics for attorneys and real estate professionals. He is co-author of the article “Ancient Remedies Solve Modern Problems: Adverse Possession” recently published by the American Bar Association, Real Estate Litigation Committee. Mr. McGrath is a former real estate appraiser and consultant, title examiner, title insurance agent and officer at Ohio Title Corporation. He earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from The Ohio State University.
