DAVID H. GUNNING II is a partner in the Cleveland law firm of Roetzel & Andress, L.P.A., and a member of the real estate group. His practice focuses on the representation of local, regional and national owners, contractors, subcontractors, developers, lenders, state agencies and universities in the areas of real estate and construction. Mr. Gunning represents clients both in their litigation and transactional needs, from the drafting of contracts, leases, purchase agreements and loan documentation on the transactional side, to advocating for his clients before state and federal courts and administrative agencies on the litigation side. He also has significant experience representing clients regarding their land use/zoning needs before administrative agencies, city councils, and state and federal courts. BRUCE J.L. LOWE is a partner in the Cleveland office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, where he concentrates his practice in business bankruptcy, creditors' rights law and commercial litigation. Mr. Lowe is a frequent speaker at bankruptcy and commercial, real estate and litigation law seminars. He is president of the Greater Cleveland International Lawyers Group and also has lectured on the legal aspects of doing business in the U.K. Mr. Lowe is a member of the Cleveland, Federal, and American bar associations, and has been listed as one of Northeastern Ohio's Leading Lawyers in the field of bankruptcy by Inside Business magazine in each of the years from 2001-2009. He also was named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Magazine from 2003-2009. Mr. Lowe is a former chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section, and a former co-chair of the William J. O'Neill Great Lakes Regional Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University in England. Mr. Lowe is a Barrister-at-Law of the Middle Temple, having graduated from the Inns of Court School of Law in London, England. KEVIN D. MARGOLIS is a partner in the Cleveland office of Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP and chair of the firm's real estate and environmental practice group. Mr. Margolis focuses his practice on the environmental aspects of business, commercial lending, real estate transactions and financing. He also has developed and implemented nationwide environmental compliance programs, including the preparation of regulatory analyses, ongoing regulatory monitoring, and routine counseling on regulatory issues. Mr. Margolis is a member of the firm's executive committee and chairman of its hiring committee. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, Federal and Ohio State bar associations. Mr. Margolis earned his B.A. degree from Northwestern University and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University. LORI A. PITTMAN is an attorney with the law firm of Ulmer &Berne LLP, where she focuses her practice on real estate and business law. She represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition, disposition and development of commercial property, including convenience stores with fuel facilities and shopping centers. In addition, Ms. Pittman represents shopping center developers, commercial property owners and lenders with respect to borrowing and refinancing transactions. She has conducted due diligence analysis on hundreds of properties and has significant experience in recognizing and resolving title problems. Ms. Pittman is experienced in representing landlords and tenants on retail and office leasing matters. She has provided real estate assistance to creditors rights counsel with respect to work outs, landlord-tenant issues in bankruptcy, cognovit judgments, foreclosures and receivership cases. Ms. Pittman is a member of Commercial Real Estate Woman, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan bar associations. She earned her B.S.B.A. degree from Youngstown State University and her J.D. degree from the University of Akron School of Law.
