MICHAEL J. BARREN is a partner in the Westerville, Ohio, law firm of Barren & Merry Co., L.P.A., where he devotes the majority of his practice to creditor bankruptcy, collections, commercial law, loan workouts and litigation. Mr. Barren has lectured extensively in the area of creditors' rights. A graduate of Princeton University, Mr. Barren earned his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Columbus, Ohio State and Federal bar associations, and the Commercial Law League. DOUGLAS HATTAWAY is an attorney with the law firm of Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA. Mr. Hattaway practices in consumer collections and is based in the Grove City office. He is licensed in Ohio and is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of South Florida, his M.A. degree from Florida State University, and his J.D degree from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law. CHRISTOPHER L. LARDIERE is of counsel to the law firm of Eastman & Smith Ltd. Mr. Lardiere has broad experience in business and commercial matters. He focuses on the representation of financial institutions and small businesses in such matters as commercial and complex litigation, residential and commercial real estate matters, employment matters, transactions, insurance coverage, and general business consultation. Mr. Lardiere has served as both general counsel and on the board of directors of a financial institution. He is actively involved in a number of professional organizations, including the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio Bankers League, and the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. Mr. Lardiere earned his B.A. degree from the University of Dayton and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School. KENNETH M. RICHARDS is a partner in the law firm of Luper Neidenthal & Logan, where his practice in the firm's bankruptcy department includes the representation of Chapter 7 trustees, as well as both debtors and creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13. He previously has lectured on the fundamentals of bankruptcy law, bankruptcy litigation and ethics to attorneys and other professionals, and was named an Ohio Super Lawyer in bankruptcy, debtor and creditor law from 2007 to 2011. Mr. Richards is a member of the Columbus and Ohio State bar associations, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
