EDWARD H. BLAKEMORE is senior corporate counsel with Eaton Corporation, where he manages litigation filed against the Fortune 500 company. Prior to joining Eaton Corporation, Mr. Blakemore's diverse practice included the defense of small to medium-sized businesses, corporations, insurers and individuals in all of the following areas of litigation: product liability, transportation litigation, catastrophic injury litigation, general liability, appellate litigation and professional liability. He has tried numerous cases to juries and the bench in several different Ohio jurisdictions. Mr. Blakemore is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Board of Trustees and its Certified Grievance Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Stephanie Tubbs Jones' Summer Legal Academy. Mr. Blakemore earned his B.A. degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia and his J.D. degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio. KIP T. BOLLIN is a partner in the law firm of Thompson Hine LLP, where he focuses primarily on the defense of complex product liability and business claims, including putative class actions. In the product liability area, he represents major corporations in the defense of putative class actions, mass torts, toxic torts (including claims alleging exposure to silica, diisocyanate (MDI), welding rod fumes and asbestos), employment-related torts, and premises liability actions. Mr. Bollin defends major manufacturers of both heavy industrial and consumer products from wrongful death claims and claims involving serious economic and physical damages. His business litigation practice includes the defense of putative class actions, major commercial claims, intellectual property claims (litigation counsel, working with patent counsel), and other claims in Federal Court. Mr. Bollin is the immediate past president of the Federal Bar Association's Northern Ohio chapter and Delegate to National Counsel. ELLIOTT is a partner in the Akron law firm of Scanlon & Elliott where he practices in the areas of employment law, matters involving stockbroker misconduct and investment losses, and civil litigation. In addition, he has a great deal of experience handling claims for personal injury, products liability and medical malpractice. HAVENER is an attorney with The Havener Law Firm LLC, which she founded in 2008 after 17 years of practice in large firms. Ms. Havener's career has included cases ranging from antitrust to zoning and nearly everything in between, with a particular focus on fraud. She has participated as liaison counsel in multidistrict litigation, corporate employee raiding cases, securities fraud litigation, environmental regulation, multi-billion dollar corporate tax controversies, intellectual property litigation, insurance coverage disputes, government contract bid protests, administrative proceedings before the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Department of Veterans' Affairs, complex commercial foreclosure actions and numerous appellate proceedings. Ms. Havener is experienced in mediation and arbitration, including international arbitration. HORN is a partner in the law firm of Meyers, Roman, Friedberg & Lewis. Ms. Horn is a trial attorney with experience representing companies in complex civil and commercial litigation, including contract, construction, real estate, trade secrets and employment disputes. She was named an Ohio Super Lawyer for 2011 by Law & Politics Magazine. She earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from The University of Minnesota. KERRI L. KELLER is an attorney in the Akron office of Brouse McDowell, LPA. Ms. Keller focuses her practice in the area of business and commercial litigation, which includes contractual disputes, business torts, employment law, insurance recovery and real estate disputes. Prior to joining Brouse McDowell, LPA, she worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John R. Adams, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern District, from 2003 - 2007. During her clerkship, Ms. Keller gained valuable federal experience.
